16.01.2022 Second last shoot for the year done and dusted! Thanks to all who came down! There has been a lot go big shoots recently and we know everyone is starting to get worn down. Congratulations to all the winners and a special mention to James Saliba for the 25 break. https://scalivescores.com.au/Home/EventResults/507/-1/2... We would like some feedback from the shooters, as most are aware we have been shooting a 3 pad per 25 targets format - 2 pads of 8 targets using 4 traps - 1 pad of 9 targets using 5 traps We have been hearing both good feedback and also people wanting to go the 4 pads per 25 targets - 3 pads of 6 using 3 traps - 1 pad of 7 using 3 or 4 traps. Let us know your opinion - thanks everyone and hopefully we will see you at the Christmas shoot for a chance to win some ham!

14.01.2022 Hi All, Geelong Sporting Clays have abandoned the conduct of the State Selection Shoot on the 18th July due to the lockdown of Melbourne caused by the Covid-19 situation. In place for those who are able to attend we will conduct a practice day utilising the three Compak Sporting Layouts and we will also make the two big towers available.... You must book a spot to attend on the day and to do this either email [email protected] or SMS 0408520909 with a preferred time, you will be advised of your start time on Friday 17th on Home of Sporting Clays Facebook page. Traralgon have also abandoned the State Selection Event scheduled for 8th August in place Geelong will conduct a practice day similar to the mentioned above. The conduct of our sport and selection of Australian Teams is based on fairness and equal opportunity. We do have other avenues in this difficult year to choose other fairer ways for all of our members to achieve the pinnacle in our sport, being selection in Australian Teams. Decisions on a revised process will be discussed at the VSCA Annual General Meeting on Saturday 18th July Our thoughts go out to all those in lockdown and we will look forward to seeing you all again when the situation improves Ray McFarlane President GSCA
