25.01.2022 St Pat's Race Meet will now go ahead behind closed doors. Race goers will no longer be allowed to attend Saturday's St Pat's Race Day. ... The Geelong Racing Club, in consultation with the Geelong St Patrick's Racing Club and the Racing Industry, has joined both the MVRC and MRC and taken the decision to proceed with Saturday’s race meeting with only racing participants and industry officials on course. The decision to proceed without members, owners and racegoers attending Saturday’s race meeting has been taken in light of the increased concern over the transmission of COVID-19. The health and well-being of employees, members and the broader community need to be our priority at this point in time. We apologise for any inconvenience.
