Mini-ballers: Introductory basketball sessions for boys and girls aged 5 - 9 years. No experience necessary. Be prepared to run, jump, shoot and dribble. There will be skills, drills, and lots of fun!! Rep-Ready: GUB will host a series of Rep-Ready Sessions in the lead up to the VJBL trials for the 2021 season. The sessions will be high intensity and skills-focused, perfect for players wanting to polish their skills before trials commence. New and returning athletes welcome. 04.01.2022 10 years ago today our BigV Championship Women (then know as the Geelong Lady Cats - Basketball Geelong) came away with a massive 2-0 series victory against the Hume City Broncos! Battling hard in game 1 the Women were able to pull away and secure the victory 76-69. In game two however, the Lady Cats were dominant claiming the trophy and the 20 point win 86-66. Candice Rogers came away with the series MVP averaging an incredible 16ppg/13rpg/2apg.
