Figure and ask yourself; what is a step/action I can take today that gets me started on the path to reaching my goal? Enjoy the journey towards achieving your goals. If you encounter setbacks along the way, dont get discouraged because your persistence, ability to adapt and change your approach/course of action and determination are enough to break down any walls that stand between you and your future goals.

20.01.2022 As we come to the end of Mental Heath Awareness Week 2015 #mhaw2015 Everyone will go through some hard times at some point. Life isnt easy. Just something to think about. Did you know the people that are the strongest are usually the most sensitive? Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated? Did you know the ones who take care of others all the time are usually the ones who need it the most? Did you know the three hardest things to... say are I love you, Im sorry, and help me? Sometimes just because a person looks happy, you have to look past their smile to see how much pain they may be in. To all my friends who are going through some issues right now--lets start an intentional avalanche. We all need positive intentions right now. If I dont see your name, Ill understand. May I ask my friends wherever you might be, to kindly copy and paste this status for one hour to give a moment of support to all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just needs to know that someone cares. 14.01.2022 HOW WE CAN HELP TO REDUCE INCIDENCE OF TERRORISM IN OUR SOCIETY. In my opinion, there is little difference between the person who commits mass murder in a schoolyard than that of a terrorist. Some of the contributing factors are still the same in my view. The isolation, unacceptance the person feels in this regard is similar. The term outcast perhaps sums it up. An outcast in communities is someone who feels disliked, unvalued, unheard and unloved. The bullied teenager dev...elops hatred just like a terrorist. There are obviously other factors that differ between the two but also a similar mindset created in each by social factors each experience in their lives. To keep this post reasonably short, how can we as individual members of society reduce the chances of playing a part in shaping the psychological framework that can contribute to making people a threat to others safety? We have to become more inclusive of others and recognise when someone is on the cusp of becoming an outcast. Sporting clubs, school programs, religious groups, etc all of these help to foster a sense of acceptance and inclusion for people. Its very difficult for someone who feels cared for, supported, accepted, loved and appreciated to build up hatred, resentment and wanting to get even by hurting other people. A motto I like to remind myself of is: Many cultures, many colours. ONE RACE = HUMAN RACE.

11.01.2022 STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO PEACE OF MIND MEDITATION Lets begin the practice of meditation: 1) Make sure you have 10-15mins of time which you know it isnt likely you will be interrupted and its quiet where you choose to meditate.... 2) Find a comfortable spot, either a couch or chair to sit in or maybe you prefer a bed or floor to lie on. Sitting or laying it doesnt matter. 3) Before you begin the meditation, just sit or lay there in that comfortable place for a minute just allow your thoughts to empty out and the busyness of your mind to settle. 4) Close your eyes and focus your awareness on every aspect of your breathing. Feel the air coming in and going out of your nostrils and feel your chest and stomach rising and falling as you breathe in and out. 5) When thoughts come into mind and distract you from your focus on your breathing, which they inevitably will, gently bring your attention back to your breathing as described in Step 4) above. 6) Continue this for 10-15 mins and then open your eyes and continue to relax for 1-2 more mins, however, you dont need to continue focusing on your breathing its simply to bring you back into your daily life after the meditation. Its as simple as that!
