25.01.2022 TTA is pleased to announce that the Victorian Government, through the Significant Sporting Events Program, will support the 2021 National Hopes Week & Challenge..., to be held at LOOPS Table Tennis in Melbourne from 12-16 April. The premier national event for Under 12’s is on track to hit record numbers again this year and we’re appreciative that the Victorian Government is on board. Entries close this Sunday 28 March. 14.01.2022 The club is NOT open this Saturday 03 April, nor this Monday 05 April due to Easter. Only private coaching (one-to-one) is happening during this Easter long weekend. We will resume activities on Tuesday 06 April, however, there will be NO pennant on this week, only having a hit (table hire).... Saturday and Monday sessions will continue as normal during the school holidays after the easter weekend. Regards, GTTA

11.01.2022 RETURN TO PLAY - UPDATE Please note that Sport & Recreation Victoria are still in the process of seeking and providing clarification around the circumstances i...n which limited play for those under 18 in regional Victoria may be possible. We are aware of some clubs who may have already provided details to their members around a return to play. Until we receive absolute clarity via the Restricted Activity Directions which we expect to be issued on Tuesday 27th October, no club should be issuing any instructions to their members as the relevant information is not yet available. As activity is not able to resume until 2 November 2020, we ask that patience and caution is extended until we are able to clarify the rules. The notice provided should allow for adequate preparation.

08.01.2022 Dear GTTA Members, 2020 has been a particularly challenging time, but as we close the year, we are scheduling our Annual General Meeting on Monday the 7th of December at 7:30pm. We hope to be able to hold this at the Geelong Table Tennis Centre, but we will also run a Zoom meeting (details below) if necessary. 04.01.2022 Good evening, After a long time off Geelong Table Tennis is extremely excited to announce that we will be running a summer competition for 5 weeks on a Tuesday night 15 December 22 December 5 January ... 12 January 19 January It will be teams of 3 with doubles. Cost will be $50 for adults and $30 for juniors. Please let me know if you are interested in playing. Also at this stage, Tuesday night comp will commence on the 2nd of February Wednesday 3rd of February Thursday night 4th of February. I will be opening the centre up the Australia Day week and will let you know what days closer to the date. Kind regards Eden

03.01.2022 Dear GTTA Members, As no doubt all members are aware, the covid restrictions in regional Victoria are starting to be eased. Whilst we cannot yet open the centre, the board met on Tuesday to discuss the next steps, and what arrangements need to be in place in preparation for opening up again. Let's all cross our fingers that things continue to improve, and we can start to open up again soon and see all our members again at the centre. In the coming days we may see more announ...cements from the government, and if that allows for even limited play, we will be in contact again. Until then, stay safe and well.
