25.01.2022 Great news!! We are starting back next week with some classes including Craft, Art, Yoga, Pilates and Qigong (both face to face and zoom) and in a few weeks meditation. 24.01.2022 The benefits of having a regular mindfulness/meditation practice are numerous and scientifically proved. We feel that now more than ever it is important to keep up such practice and enjoy its benefits. Our Mindfulness & Meditation classes will be running online starting from Monday 30/3/20. Linda will be sending you a recorded mindfulness session every Monday, which you will then be able to listen to at your convenience. The cost will be $72 for 6 weeks, contact [email protected] for further details.

23.01.2022 We have sought some clarification from DHHS and Neighbourhood Houses Victoria and while we are so looking forward to re-opening our house and resume our classes, news is that we just have a while longer to wait. As soon as I get the go ahead, I will let you know, in the meantime, well done Victoria on keeping the numbers low!!

18.01.2022 We regretfully wish to let you know that due to Government’s Stage 3 restrictions, Geelong West Neighbourhood House will be closed until restrictions are lifted. We will keep you updated via our website, newsletter and Facebook and if you have any questions, please feel free to email our office. We still have Qigong classes available through zoom and Meditation classes recorded and sent to you, feel free to enrol for these classes via website or email [email protected] for further details. We wish you all good health and see you when we return!

12.01.2022 "A CHANCE TO TALK" COMMUNITY ZOOM MEETINGS "A chance to talk" is a weekend (1hr) zoom social connection meeting that will be run by Geelong West Neighbourhood House during this time of social isolation. It is open to anyone in the Geelong West Community who would like to say hello to others in their community. It is a free event and you don’t have to commit to anything. Just join in. This will be a facilitated group. Please let us know via email [email protected] if you are interested and I will register you and give you a password.

06.01.2022 We have some exciting news!! We are re-opening next week for some of our classes. We have vacancies in the following: Meditation - from Monday 23rd November for 4 weeks. 1.00 2.00PM. Cost $12 per week or $40 for the 4 sessions (saving $8)... Art Journaling Wed 6.30 8.00pm starting 18th November for 5 weeks An art journal is a safe creative space to explore a variety of art techniques and art materials based on your own thoughts, experiences and surroundings. This class you will help you generate ideas through creative play and experimentation, using pencil, paint, pastel, pens, collage, paper and textures. Suitable for beginners or those wanting to ignite their creative potential. Art Journal and basic materials included $80 course fee $20 materials fee Numbers are strictly limited and we have COVID safe practices in place, including all participants must wear a mask.
