25.01.2022 The Geelong West Cricket Club are super keen for another year of women’s cricket. After a super successful year last year being one of two clubs in the region to field two teams, we are again welcoming anyone and everyone, no matter what your cricketing background is to come and have a go! Our club is one of very few that has been apart of developing female participation in cricket in the Geelong area since its startup, and we pride ourselves on having a culture that embrac...es and encourages girls and women in sport. We have a range of experienced coaches that have worked with women’s cricketers for several years and they are eager to continue to help develop female cricketers in Geelong. The boys had their first session together and they are certainly a very talented bunch. We are very excited to see what the season ahead has in store for these young guns, watch this space!

21.01.2022 After a comprehensive win for the under 15 boys in the T20 Grand Final on Tuesday night, their sights are now set on a spot in the 2-day grand final. Tommorow and Sunday at Myers Reserve, these young guns will take on Bannockburn where they will fight to keep their season alive. The last few weeks has seen them train with both the Bell Post Hill and Geelong West senior men’s teams, where they have refined their skills and received some valuable knowledge to take with them. ... Get down to Bell Post Hill from 8:15 am to support the boys and help them get into the big dance! They would love nothing more than a huge crowd of Panthers and Rams cheering them on.

Jackson is moving to the rams from East Belmont where he has played division 1 cricket for multiple seasons now. Jackson is a talented young top-order batsman who is eager to come and join a young core down at Geelong West this season! Recently having moved to Geelong from England with partner Rhea, Stuart was involved at Folkestone CC and Selsted CC back home. Stuart is an all-rounder who has played at high level and local level cricket. With an impressive career including averages over 39 with the bat and an average of 12 with the ball, Stuart is eager to share his wealth of experience and knowledge at West Oval this season. Stuart is set to be a great addition to the rams, so please join us in welcoming Stuart and Rhea to our family!
