20.01.2022 We were so fortunate to have the amazingly talented Christopher Bennett on board for our Geelong After Dark performance, which was sadly COVID cancelled. However we look forward to some fantastic creative collaborations in the future.
20.01.2022 We have an amazing year planned at Geelong Youth Choir in 2020. On Friday 1 May, GYC will be performing at Geelong After Dark. Here’s the promo for last year's event: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aS8lIBhJyGE

16.01.2022 Throwback Thursday. Not too far back, just a year, but feels so long ago
15.01.2022 Raise the Bar singer, Corporal Glenn Agnew (Australian Army (UNTAC Cambodia) and our friend and colleague, Callum Watson on bagpipes, deliver a moving tribute on ANZAC Day. We greatly missed singing this year. Lest we forget.

14.01.2022 Did you know? Choir singing improves health, happiness and is the perfect icebreaker. "The satisfaction of performing together, even without an audience, is likely to be associated with activation of the brain’s reward system, including the dopamine pathway, which keeps people coming back for more." Join us and enjoy the many benefits of choir singing. To learn more, register your interest at: https://geelongyouthchoir.com/contact-us/
14.01.2022 We'd like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful helpers at our fundraising sausage sizzle at Bunnings on Saturday. We had a great turn out of helpers and we're pleased to report the event raised $1,615 towards our Term One costs. A special thank you to committee member, Heather Jane, for her hard work in organising the day.

13.01.2022 Not feeling well? Here's a handy guide from the World Health Organisation
13.01.2022 This is to notify all that under the extraordinary circumstances in which we find ourselves, the AGM for Geelong Youth Choir, originally scheduled for Monday, 23rd March, is postponed. We are making adjustments as best we can with the hope we can emerge the other end still in operation. All rehearsals are now cancelled, and we are looking at ways in which we can maintain our choristers’ friendships and musical journeys online. May we all get through this safe, healthy, and with lots of loo paper.
12.01.2022 GYC and Raise the Bar rehearsals are on again this afternoon. We can’t wait to see you there! You can still signup to volunteer at our Bunnings sausage sizzle fundraiser this Saturday 14 March. Ask a committee member behind the desk at today’s rehearsal for more information.
