25.01.2022 Hi everybody, Very much like the bush fire crisis 14 months ago, I will remain on the pharmacy premises 24/7 if needed to ensure that our community’s health needs are met over the following months. Saying this though, it is business as usual at Geeveston Pharmacy. We are working with doctors, pharmacists and health officials to ensure we have continuity of service and supply of medications.... I am also fighting to ensure ongoing supply of medicines and I do have contingencies in place if we need to search farther afield to source essential medicines. I will post updates on this Facebook site of only credible information and leave the sensationalist BS to the keyboard warriors trying to make a name for themselves. 24.01.2022 FREE Hand Sanitizer! With all of the problems we are facing at the moment, we are offering our customers a free hand sanitizer with free refills. It is a small thing that we can do to help keep our community be safe and prevent transmission of the Covid virus. There is limited supply so we ask that only people who are needing some please pick up a complementary bottle. Washing your hands with soap and water is still the best thing to do but these are great when you do your essential trips to the pharmacy, doctor, hardware store, butchers, post office, service station, take away stores and supermarket all in our wonderful part of the world.

18.01.2022 Pharmacy Assistant Traineeship Available A position has become available at Geeveston Pharmacy for a person who would like to work as part of a friendly and supportive team; someone who always puts customers first and someone who wants to become a qualified pharmacy assistant (via an accredited pharmacy assistant course). The position will involve:... * Customer service * Learning on the job * Packing medications into Webster Packs * Helping patients and customers with their health and product needs * Delivering medications to patients’ homes * Stock management * General day to day running of the pharmacy The successful applicant will have the following attributes: * Friendly and enjoy working with people, independently and within a team * Drivers licence (at least a provisional licence) * Willingness to learn * Reliable Salary and Hours Hours: Between 32 to 38 hours per week Weekends: Occasional Saturdays from 9am to 1pm Hourly Rate: Dependent on Pharmacy Assistant Award (MA000012) and level of experience. 15.01.2022 Last Tuesday, Geeveston Pharmacy was transformed into Rosehaven Pharmacy with our local production team from the ABC. It was amazing to watch these professionals work their craft. Everyone from the equipment carriers up to the actors were all amazling polite, friendly and courteous. Sorry for the disruption and reduced access during the morning. Emily and Dave seemed to work their own magic with the innovative curb side pharmacy service. Wishing the cast and crew of Rosehaven all of the best and success for the future.
