Captain Spud delivered his 3rd win in a row taking out his first Saturday City race in good company winning with ease and superbly ridden by Johnny Allen - 10/10 ride Congratulations to his great owners who coupled up as Danny Frawley’s best friends and what a huge thrill to win and a very emotional win with Spud sending some of his to the horse and jockey .... After his excellent debut running 3rd at Moe over 1100m 3 weeks ago today he controlled the race over 1400m with an excellent judged ride by Patrick Moloney. 07.01.2022 Today I have recommended that my great horse Levendi be retired. Where do you start with such a great talent - from the first day you stepped into the stable you were a Rolls Royce , just a real good horse ! You won 5 of your first 10 races at the highest level and put the stable in the limelight again after feature wins in Melbourne & Sydney respectively . Thank you to the owners for investing into such a great horse and thank you to Hannah Vicary & Grant Seccombe in partic...ular and everyone else who contributed to his wellbeing and successes. The Marg Factor was very impressive at Werribee at only her 2nd start perfectly ridden by Jake Noonan leading all the way to win in fine style . Congratulations to the Moss Brothers who have named this filly after there amazing Mum Margaret Huge thank you to all the team at Caulfield & Moe for educating this wonderful filly and the Frappell Family for educating her and breaking her in to become what she is today - thank you
