23.01.2022 inDigiMob are visiting Groote Eylandt for the week to improve digital inclusion for Warnumamalya. Teaming up with Groote Broadcasting as well, we spent a day in Bickerton teaching the wurrukwayuwa (children) how to do some stop motion animations. Here's a little behind the scenes for those who missed out! Special thanks for Amethea for allowing us to interview her.

This series was made for the school teachers in Angurugu, Umbakumba and Bickerton so we can reach our goals of having bilingual education on the archipelago. 16.01.2022 Angurugu Primary Class have been very busy creating beautifully coloured yingarna's (snakes) and working out how to put Anindilyakwa words together using syllable chunks, writing them into booklets and putting them back together using book creator on the ipads.

As part of the Territory Schools Competition, schools around the territory were asked what they loved the most about living in the NT. We collaborated with Angurugu School and asked the kids ten things they loved the most about living on Groote Eylandt! Unfortunately, we didn't win but there's always next year. Enjoy!
