Gordon Sciclum and his plants aren't able to come this Saturday 8th due to Covid but there will be a direct order with Gordon via me. Gippsland Lakes Complete Health are undertaking a Respiratory (breathing) Care Project to identify, manage and correlate the effects of the recent bushfires on members of the community. If you meet the following criteria: - Over 65 - Under 14... - Have pre-existing respiratory illness (ie asthma, COPD, emphysema) - Pregnant - Have New respiratory symptoms with/from the bush fire smoke (means any age) Please either contact Gelantipy District Bush Nursing Centre on 51550274 or your local General Practitioner, to have a screening tool completed. #GippslandLakesCompleteHealth

08.01.2022 UPDATE ON TODAY’S COMMUNITY BBQ ... the Mobile Bushfire Recovery Clinic will be at the Gelantipy Hall from 4pm this arvo - and they will be leaving at 6pm before the BBQ starts - so people need to come and pick their brains before 6pm, and then join us for some dinner afterwards. See you there

08.01.2022 FREE PLANTS FOR THE WHOLE BUCHAN AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY! The Foster Community are donating a mix of exotic and native plants and seedlings suitable for gardens to the whole Community - not just for people who have lost houses or gardens as they recognise that we've all been impacted. Please come and take some plants that have been so kindly donated by the Foster Community as a way of saying "Thank you". They are arriving on Tuesday late afternoon and will be available from 9 ...- 5 on Wednesday 28th October and Thursday 29th October outside the Buchan Neighbourhood House. Initially a maximum of 6 plants per house, just to make sure that everyone gets the chance to take some plants away. Also available 5 - 7pm on Wednesday for those who can't come from 9 - 5.
