24.01.2022 WOW What a crazy busy week! I have seen so many clients this week(new & old) & it is so GREAT to be back working in the clinic doing what I love ! ... So... I would just like to take a moment to say ***THANK YOU*** to all of my clients- (new or an ongoing regular it doesn't matter I really do appreciate you ALL)for your ongoing support, friendship & loyalty throughout the years but especially the past 7 weeks! Our Professional association- Massage & Myotherapy Australia have informed us that-The Department of Health- South Australia has now deemed REMEDIAL MASSAGE an ESSENTIAL SERVICE. This being said -We will constantly be reviewing proper hygiene & infection control practices to ensure your safety & will Re-open the clinic - tomorrow Wednesday 29th April (Mawson Lakes) & Friday 1st May (Angaston). We will be limiting our contact time in both clinics, having extra time between clients for cleaning & ask that you cancel your appointment if you are sick or have been in contact with anybody who has any symptoms. 07.01.2022 Dear Valued GTM clients/supporters Unfortunately due to constant conflicting advice, from several different sources, I now feel to keep my clients & myself safe that i sadly will need to cancel all scheduled Remedial Massage appointments indefinitely. This has definitely not been an easy decision to make & it saddens me greatly, but I want to keep everyone as safe & healthy as possible. ... Remedial Massage Therapists as health providers, with a provider number(in which you are able to claim on your private health/work cover/insurance for RMT services) have struggled to be "put"(for want a better word) into a category within in the Allied Health world for many, many years- This in itself has created an uproar within our profession and has made it extremely hard to clarify our position in this ongoing challenging & very difficult time. Therefore as there has been no solid clarification from the government in regards to Remedial Massage and where we sit in regards to the Allied Health sector( we are NOT massage palours or day spas- we provide a health related benefical service to clients in need) over the last few days, it has made decisions to continue treating/or to close indefinitely extremely difficult to make. If you would like to help our small local business to survive this difficult time- please share our page,posts, leave a review(kind of course) or you can also purchase a gift voucher to use at any given time. We would LOVE to see you back in the clinic when it is safe to do so! I understand there are many people in dire need of help & support currently, so please don't hesitate to reach out to others or myself if i can help in anyway- your smile or small gesture could make their day!
