25.01.2022 Weathers looking good for Friday and the weekend guys. Good whiting being caught, flathead being caught in numbers and tailor were great last week and hopefully keep going on the full moon. Get amongst it but just remember to stay within the covid 19 restrictions. See MSQ qld for restrictions

09.01.2022 COVID-19: Wilson Fishing Position on Boating and Angling in QLD While we are able to boat and fish for subsistence, Wilson Fishing will support this move by fol...lowing the guidleines set out in last night's media release from Fisheries Queensland. This decision by QLD Govt took a lot of hard work from a lot of people, with many of those people putting their necks on the line to get boating and fishing for subsistence passed. Fishing provides families with food and can be of great importance to the mental health of individuals. This is a real opportunity for anglers and boaters to show the way and do the right thing. What we do not need to see is anglers travelling great distances to reach non-local waters, mass gatherings at ramps and boaters simply out for a day on the water. The ability to fish for food has a caveat to fish locally. It also has an over-riding demand for social distancing and all other mandated Covid-19 regulations. For us this means: Fish with people only from your household Fish only in local waters Do not travel to fish (head directly to your nearest ramp) Fish only for food, not for fun Do not delay when launching and retrieving your boat Do not allow household members to play on the beach or in any nearby park Maintain social distance at all times Do not clean fish at the ramp, take them home to reduce time out of your home Do not take the piss and understand the lifeline we have all been given can easily be taken away. This could easily be a temprorary situation if anglers and boaters do not follow the guidelines. Heavy hitters want us off the water immediately, make no mistake. If we take this opportunity and laugh in the face of the regulations, we will have this access taken away - it's that simple. We are in this together, so we must all follow the rules. A few bad eggs, some people who do not do the right thing and we will have boating banned in QLD and ramps shut. It is now in your hands to do the right thing, so do it.

06.01.2022 #fishthroughit Hear from Guesty about the importance of anglers doing the right thing during the coronavirus situation, especially this long weekend. For all s...tates but Vic, this means only fishing locally, with not more than two people at a time unless family you're living with, and maintaining 1.5m of social distance. Stay tuned to updates from your local government, and most importantly stay safe. Reel Action TV #passioninspiresobsession #catchmorefish #berkleyfishingaus

05.01.2022 Slow start but Mick managed a 60 cm on a tango shad , what a great day on the water.

04.01.2022 How good is having a mullet. Chicks dig it,

04.01.2022 Young local legend Reni Dunn got amongst some quality flathead on the weekend. They caught plenty but it’s always good to see a youngster with a quality fish. Well done Queenslander buddy.

02.01.2022 Nice day on the water. Mick got a 79 cm to start the day . Makes my 50 cm look tiny. Great fish Mick

02.01.2022 Had a ball chasing flathead this weekend at Ultimate Flathead Dash With mates Julian and Bones. Didn’t do to bad overall came 13 out of 127.

01.01.2022 Read the post below from Wilson fishing. It summaries how we feel about the current situation. As it says DO THE RIGHT THING OR THEY WILL SHUT ALL FISHING DOWN. Its that simple.
