25.01.2022 Happy #34weddinganniversary to my husband Emil and I. Refelecting back to the emotion filled day of 34 years ago. I remember it like it was a year ago. Stepping into a whole new world and life for us both of us not imagining what goodness would be bestowed upon us. How times change as the past tradition for changing into the "going away outfit" is virtually non-existent now. I always loved saying goodbye to the couples at the end of the reception and looked forward to seeing... their shiny new outfits as they set off on their honeymoon. 25.01.2022 My first Covid wedding and definitely one to remember. Andy and Theraza were married in their family home and peaceful oasis today. There wasn't a dry eye in the room as they declared their love for each other in front of Vincent their son and their proud parents. Vincent operated the music and presented mum and dad with the wedding rings.... A small intimate wedding full of emotion and love is hard to top. The neighbour popped into take a group photo and we were still under the Covid 10 limit. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Legovich.

A drive through Penrose State Forest brings you to Sylvan Glen Country Estate where you are greeted by acres of green countryside. There are quaint cottages, tree lined walkways, roses, stacked wood piles and the owners Donna and Matthew are so welcoming. The beautiful women, Mary and Beverley who brought their son and daughter into the world were the legal witnesses on the day.... A family candle ceremony was a special ritual included. The meaningful words inscribed on the marriage candle were: "Woven together by choice, strengthened together by love, tested by everything and uniquely ours" It poured down heavily an hour before the ceremony and our prayers were answered as the clouds behaved on cue for a magnificent outdoor ceremony in the countryside.
