01.01.2022 A Message from Ross Emmett Our history has taught us that adversity can be a good teacher and a significant reason why sharing and encouraging self-help is at t...he heart of my technique. My story is one of overcoming adversity and learning to understand the value in people being individual, they react differently, they feel differently and they view change differently. This is one of the reasons I believe the Chameleon Approach to Body Therapy suits most people. Our parents lived through the Great Depression, World Wars, Recessions and the usual obstacles that go hand in hand with life. Their experiences affected them and in turn, affected their children and our life experiences and so on. One of my earlier challenges was being placed in an orphanage at a very young age, it was then I was faced with the initial fear of sudden change, and the heavy responsibility of looking after my younger brothers, this was daunting, and yet it was during these moments, where I first discovered the power of adaptability and the freedom of sharing. From my parents painful experiences came a new purpose, from this new purpose came determination, and from their determination came a new sense of acceptance and understanding. Adversity can be a life lesson and without being open to accepting changes, you might never learn the true measure of your own strength, including your ability to challenge yourself to adapt to any situation.
