25.01.2022 Wanted! A Lapidary and beading lover to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Gemworld from 9am to 5pm. Skills required: fascination with all things rock, bead, crystal, natural and machine. Experience with fossicking, cabbing, grinding, faceting, panning, carving, lapping, drilling, slicing, polishing, beading, metal working and retail all a plus!... Gemworld is a Bead, Glass and Lapidary showroom (and online store) located in Geebung (North Brisbane). We are looking for a new sales person to help maintain the showroom and guide and inspire our customers. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are a must and there is an opportunity for more days at a later point. We are a beading, jewellery and lapidary store based in the north side of Brisbane looking for someone to teach our fun beading classes on Saturdays on a regular basis (potentially every 5 weeks). We are looking for someone with beading skills (advanced skill is not necessary, we are looking for some nice basic designs to make in a class) with good communication skills as well as the teach...ing ability to teach a group of people whose skill levels vary in one class (the attendees skills may range from first timers to more competent beaders). If you enjoy your craft and sharing with people in a creative space then this would be perfect for you :) Classes are two hours. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
