24.01.2022 The Borderwatch is like that old jazz standard we all love to listen to over and over and remains strong in our hearts. - Since the inaugural GIJ event, the Border Watch Mount Gambier has been an instrumental part of our support and promotional team - learning how to play its part and improvising along the way as it became familiar with the event and its growth. Many new cadet journalists experienced an event that opened their eyes to a whole new genre of music and... reporting and it was a rewarding feeling to know that they had an opportunity to participate in a national and internationally renowned event. The community was provided with a chart of information from the announcement of the Scholarship finalists and their biogs, to schools participating, venue maps, program details and the finale of the Awards recipients. - To the Scott family personally our heartfelt thanks for the financial and in-kind contribution so generously donated and sincerely valued. We are very fortunate to have a great collection of the Borderwatch articles of memorabilia which have been featuring on our Facebook over the last few months and which we will continue to feature here > Facebook.com/gijmountgambier - Thanks so much to a trusted friend of GIJ for sharing and promoting the Generations spirit. Were so sad the gig is over. From, The Board - past and present (PS - an encore would be great!!) #generationsinjazz See more
