25.01.2022 Past. Present. Future. Generator Personal Training came about when I returned home from working my way around Australia. My enjoyment of the fitness industry had been simmering away since my early teens, and returning home meant I could turn up the heat and commit to something long term. I was balancing Personal Training with increasing my experience as a CrossFit coach, eventually stepping into a more permanent role with CrossFit Warrnambool. The mix of one on one training... with group sessions each day has been incredibly rewarding, with so much variety not just in the program delivered but the people as well. Moving into the eventual ownership of ‘The Box’ opened my eyes to a further need to work with the ‘whole’ person. It’s one thing to take a business to the next level, finding a way to support another human being to better health and wellbeing; that’s a nuanced art that’s driving me to learn and deliver more. That’s where the next step lies, in MVMNT365. Built upon the pillars of Movement, Mindset, Nutrition and Community - MVMNT365 has already hosted its first Good Habits Retreat and has taken to delivering coaching online during its first lockdown & ISO 2.0. I can’t wait for September 21, when we re-open the doors at 40 Albert St Warrnambool with a bigger vision. 25.01.2022 Saturday Squats Epic day on the tools today - 8am conditioning session on zoom with our awesome members thanks to @jane.erbacher, got to be a not so bendy model so Peta could film a yoga class for @greatoceanhealingcentre, took on a bunch of great info in the @burgenerstrength online day 1, trained a few of our PT crew and finished the night with a sweet little strength session. 23.01.2022 Some nice intervals during my first @gozwiftausnz academy ride We had a big (and very fun) day at the gym today and I really felt like switching off. Yes, jumping on the ski erg for some long intervals is great prep for the half marathon - mainly because I’ve only been using one for about 6 years VS about 26 using a rower. Listening to my wife who suggested a meditation and a nap instead of trying to make sense of today’s office work. Listening to my clients and members as they talk about their weekends, their lives, their struggles and their achievements. Listening to a podcast, taking in the sunset and enjoying a walk rather than hitting up my conditioning session. Listening to the giggles and excitement in my great nieces voice as she met her new puppy for the first time.
