17.01.2022 Meet The New Face of Radiation Therapy. Brett is 55 years of age and lives in Queensland. A lifetime of enjoying the harsh Australian sun had taken a toll on his skin. In the last 25 years, Brett has attempted to alleviate his skin cancers through surgery, topical creams and a range of other treatments, however the improvement in his skin quality had been minimal and short lived. A turning point for Brett was when his doctor referred him to GenesisCare to be considered for radiation therapy to address the skin cancers on his scalp and face. 01.01.2022 I cannot even begin to explain the feeling of watching the chemo come down the IV line and into my bloodstream for the first time. It was a moment I will never forget. The decision for Shonel to treat her rare and aggressive breast cancer with mainstream treatments had been tough, and very considered. For her, chemotherapy was something she’d never thought she would accept doing, and yet here she was in hospital nervously awaiting what would likely be one of the craziest s...ituations of her life.
