17.01.2022 What is musical theatre? It is a form of performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. Whether you have a full 'Triple Threat', Singer-Dancer-Actor, in your family or a Singer-Dancer, an Actor-Mover, a Dancer-Actor or someone just keen to give it a try, all abilities and experience are welcome to our musical theatre classes. Here are just a few of the benefits that musical theatre classes will give your child:... 08.01.2022 Why do all dance students need to wear a GDA uniform? At GDA we feel that uniform encourages team spirit and gives students a sense of identity. The correct uniform also allows students to move freely and comfortably in class and (importantly) enables teachers to clearly see the dancers' body in order to ensure the correct technique is being practiced. Here is a uniform checklist to help ensure dance students wear their correct uniform to each class.... We also have a Facebook group which enables parents to buy, sell or swap GDA uniforms. To find the group and join, click on the 'groups' tab on our main Facebook page. Hope this helps!
