17.01.2022 Wow Fanatics what a year it has been!!!! We went from closing 2019 on a high with a Hawaiian Christmas party to coming back refreshed and ready to go again! Then the world changed. We learnt how to *social distance, and that was hard... *wash our hands properly *clean our equipment *not to hug friends and family *not to shake hands *how to communicate differently *how to exercise in different ways Our lives certainly changed. Most of the changes are still with us now. Then we came back. Not exactly how we would have liked but we came back, and now it’s almost Christmas again!!! This year went slow and quick I think. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of all of my instructors past and present for this year.... to say THANK YOU to all wonderful Group Fitness Fanatics. With out you there would be no Group Fitness. We LOVE you Jo and the Genesis Lawnton Group Fitness Team.

02.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE This evening the Queensland Government has provided an update regarding the requirement to wear a face mask during indoor exercise. Effective i...mmediately, you will not be required to wear a face mask whilst undertaking strenuous exercise such as a high-intensity class, running or cycling. As such, members will not be required to wear a mask whilst exercising in the below: - Studio 1 classes such as Body Attack, Body Pump, Grit etc. - Cycle classes such as RPM & Sprint - Coaching Zone sessions - Strenuous cardio exercise - Strenuous strength training such as squats, deadlifts etc. however we ask that the mask be worn during rest periods. Please note however you will still be required to wear a face mask at all other times whilst you are in the club including: - Entering and exiting the club, - Walking throughout the club, and - In the bathrooms and change rooms We do thank you for your continued understanding and compliance during this 10 day period.

02.01.2022 ATTENTION MEMBERS Unfortunately due to a local power outage, we will have reduced services this morning until full power supply is restored. At present, we stil...l have music and studio lighting, however have limited general club lighting and no air conditioning. As such, this morning’s Kids Club sessions will be cancelled. Please note that all other classes and Coaching Zone sessions will continue as per scheduled. We do anticipate that the full power supply will be restored today and will provide updates as they become available. Thanks for your understanding
