13.01.2022 UPDATED******OPPORTUNITY EXTENDED*** NEW DATES! Are you, or do you know of, a single and relatively unsupported mum with a baby under 3yrs of age?... Someone who's finding establishing routines a challenge and the whole mothering role a bit overwhelming. Someone who has limited family support and who would love the opportunity to access some one on one assistance? For the next few days Genesis is offering, for free, a last minute vacant position in our eMbrace program to any woman who wants to gain some confidence, control and joy in her motherhood. This free spot is available for the upcoming program commencing 14th May which runs over 6 consecutive weekends from 9am Friday to 4pm Sunday and finishes on 20th June. Along with 2 or 3 other women, the program provides support with feeding and sleeping routines, sessions on baby development and parenting skills, healthy nutrition, emotional wellbeing along with outings and relaxing social group interaction. From leadership, to sorting donations, counselling, cleaning, gardening and answering the phone. This year we have 2 volunteers who have reached their 20 years of service. We look forward to honoring them as they reach this special milestone.
