14.01.2022 We have a beautiful educator here at Genius Sheridan Meadows, She is celebrating Ramadan, so we also got involved by creating a beautiful little space. Ramadan is a quiet, reflective time of worship, prayer, helping others, and spending time with loved ones. Fasting during Ramadan is from sunrise to sunset. One of the many traditions states that when one of you is fasting, you should break your fast with dates. 07.01.2022 We welcomed Digit to our Kindy classroom today. He is part of our robotic program, where we will learn how to interact with him and teach him how to respond to us. He will follow the children's directions and respond back through a series of coding patterns. We are very excited for the second term of our kindy program. #inspirealifetime #learnforalifetime

06.01.2022 Our Nutritional Ninja Program Our chef spent the morning with our kindy children this morning. The children have been exploring the body all term. So Sophie asked the children what foods make a healthy body and we decided vegetables were healthy. The children named some vegetables, so Miss Sophie created an activity for the children to use the mentioned vegetables to create their own little healthy potato bodies.... As the Early Childhood Teacher you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Kindergarten group assigned to you. You will have sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and display values that align with the NQF and the Genius philosophy. You will be supported by qualified permanent Educators. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality education and care through assisting to manage the day to day operations of the Centre, forging healthy relationships with parents and children. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage the day to day operations of your room to ensure the Centre complies with the National Quality Framework (NQF) across all related areas. - Work passionately to develop positive relationships with families and children - Work closely with the leadership team to provide support and training to ensure high-quality early learning and care that meets or exceeds the NQS - Contribute to a professional and positive work environment - Create a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment for children at all times. 05.01.2022 The Kindy children over the last term have been concentrating on our robotic program. We started making a robot of our own with working hands and lungs, and heart. We just need to put his heart on :) the children have been very interested in this project. Next term we will continue growing our knowledge on robots.
