At Genius Toowoomba, we came together and helped the children understand the significance of ANZAC Day. We, as educators, supported their education through sharing thoughts and ideas by commemorating ANZAC Day with poppy artworks using recycled materials like egg cartons and hand painting! We also read And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda which explains the importance of ANZAC Day, and the memorable song, in a way that our little learners could understand. Lest We Forget

They are in the Genius kitchen please feel free to take some home This was a great activity to teach the children about the process of growing vegetables. Along with supporting hand eye coordination when picking them. This supports sustainability and encouraging healthy eating.

02.01.2022 ~ Little Master Chef Bakers in the Making! ~ The children have been in love with pretend baking (we will have to do some real baking very soon!) We mixed the goop with Ana and began adding all our extra essential Ingredients; tree bark chocolate chips! Sand sugar, leaf herbs and much more to create the scrumptious looking cupcake delights!!
