25.01.2022 Say Their Name Day is a day for the whole community to demonstrate that every little life matters and deserves to be celebrated, and that bereaved families are deserving of all the support we can give. Name by name, we’re helping to break the stigma that prevents families from seeking support to help in their healing, in finding hope for the future, and in coping with their new normal. Red Nose and Sands are proud to bring you Say Their Name Day in 2021 a new campaign to ...help raise awareness of pregnancy, baby and child loss and to raise much-needed funds to ensure that every grieving family has access to the support they need for as long as they need it. Please make a donation if you are able to!!

24.01.2022 Meet Lucy, Secretary of GenLife! My name is Lucy, and Im the secretary of GenLife. Im halfway through my Law/Arts degree here at the University of Notre Dame. Along with some friends, I joined GenLife to help educate myself and others on the dignity of human life, at all stages of existence. It is frequently the case that societys most vulnerable (the unborn and the elderly) are seen as less valuable. As a result, they are subjected to rationalisations which try to justify what is always, and unequivocally, the intentional taking of a human life. In a you do you culture which champions free choice at the expense of almost any other consideration, I hope that GenLife can be a respectful voice of truth and reason, reminding people that we are only truly free to the extent that we are free to choose the good.
21.01.2022 A couple of months ago we got to chat with Alumni Robert Assaf and his wife Carmel to discuss their experience of married life. In our conversation, Robert and Carmel share about their challenging experiences of miscarriage and how it gave them a deeper appreciation and insight into the dignity and value of the unborn. We decided to share this excerpt from our interview with them today, to coincide with exactly one year since the passing of the Abortion Law Reform Act 2019.... We hope that their testimony may inspire in you a deeper reverence for the dignity of the unborn amidst a society and state that no longer respects nor values all human persons. #notforgotten @lifechoiceaustralia #prolifeGeneration #prolife #prolifeyouth #abortion #stopabortion #miscarriageawareness #dignity #love #lovethemboth #feminism #Womensrights #Marriage #Family #life

21.01.2022 Meet Bethany, Vice President of GenLife! Hey friends! Im Bethany Marsh, a twenty-something Masters of Theology student and music tutor. Occasionally I write and pretend to know things. Im a big fan of Thomas Aquinas and G. K. Chesterton and hope one day to understand what they say. I joined GenLife this semester because I truly love its vision - the recognition of the inherent good in each and every person, and its encouragement towards social responsibility in protecting human life at all stages. I look forward to working alongside like-minded individuals in this great cause for cultural change!

17.01.2022 Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day 2020: Warning: this may trigger some people whom share this experience... But, it also may bring you comfort. T...oday we remember an issue that is prevalent not only in modern society but since the dawn of time. Infant mortality is a subject that brings grief to women all over the world. In saying this, it also unites us, because it is a common sufferance that we all share no matter our ethnicity or how much we earn. For hundreds of years, it was a matter that was hushed and dealt with inwardly, and for many that is the reality today. In 2020, it is important that we acknowledge and normalise grief and bring comfort to mothers AND fathers whom have experienced a miscarriage. In our 15 years of pregnancy support, we have seen the impact of miscarriage and the effect it has on women in particular. One thing we have learnt is that women blame, shame and dishearten themselves for something that was out of their control. We know that it is our role to offer support, listen and guide women (and their families) through the most difficult and #unplanned seasons of their life. 1 in 4 women experience a miscarriage. You are not alone, and your grief matters. We also extend our remembrance to those who’ve suffered a stillbirth, SIDS, death of a newborn and any other circumstance of infant loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today. #diamond #support #miscarriage #pregnancy #infantloss #pregancyandinfantlossrememberanceday #unplannedpregnancy #mothers #rememberthem #weremember
16.01.2022 In our interview with Robert and Carmel, they share honestly yet beautifully about married life. In particular the challenges and opportunities that moved them to grow together! They are such a wholesome witness to the fullness and fruitfulness of Marriage! And I am sure that their marriage has been taken to new levels as they continue to adjust to parenting their gorgeous 6 week old daughter Mariam. We will definitely have to catch up with them again to see how they are go...ing! #Marriage #Love #Life #profamily #prolife #prolifegeneration #familyiseverything
