25.01.2022 This very hairy baby had a wonderful time being pampered by my student groomers today. Pepper was such a patient sweet puppy. 2 hours of pampering and lots of kisses of course.

17.01.2022 WARNING!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE SO-CALLED "TREATS" TO YOUR DOGS!!! THEY CAN POTENTIALLY KILL THEM!! Just a little warning regarding the Xmas treats many stor...es are now starting to stock for dogs at Xmas. Many of these so called treats end up with the dog "enjoying" some time in a veterinary surgery over Christmas. The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China. The chews are made from cattle or horse hides and their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell. Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes. On testing, these chews have shown traces of arsenic, mercury, chromium and formaldehyde. If that wasn't bad enough, they regularly cause intestinal blockages, poisoning from chemical residue and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog. Leave them in the shop where they belong or if some well meaning person buys them for your dog put them safely away for later, then dispatch in the bin! Please be safe with your dogs! Just a little note to let you all know we are back at work and working hard to stay within the covid 19 guidelines set out by our government . We are maintaining strict non contact pick up and drop off and deep cleaning between customers . Please help us by picking up and dropping off at the requested times . Online payment is our only option also. If you have an...y issues at all feel free to make contact by phone or text and we can work something out. A gentle reminder also to please allow us longer time for grooming if your dog is getting on in years. We allow our older clients to rest after their bath and dry as they can’t stand for long and I won’t use belly straps to make them stand as I feel it stresses them. If you have an issue with the length of time your dog needs to stay in the salon then please call to discuss this and I’ll explain the time schedule . Have an awesome pawesome day See more
