19.01.2022 I took this photo earlier in the year. I tweaked around some settings to capture the mood I felt within the silence. Do you take time for silence and if so, what is it telling you? For me it’s that... everything is ok... The head can come in with objections to that and find reasons why things may not be, but the head doesn’t have the upper deck view that the soul does. It’s the soul that communicates with us in the silence and abSOULutely worth listening to

13.01.2022 The first relationship we have is the one we have with ourself. We all carry the spirit of our inner child within us...it is very much alive and wants to be seen and heard...it wants to express itself through the resources and capabilities we now have as adults. My relationship with my inner child becomes more beautiful every day and that is my greatest achievement.... Because from this place my relationship to everything else, and with everyone else, also becomes more beautiful. I started the inner child work 20 years ago and she was so deeply wounded it took almost a decade to build trust with her. I never gave up on her and I never will. She is the most beautiful little soul in my world and I have the deepest love and respect for her. 12.01.2022 Close your eyes for a moment and imagine yourself being surrounded by the healing and rejuvenating power of water. What image first came to mind for you? Where you laying in a warm salt bath filled with oils and candles? Perhaps you were beside the ocean, what we’re the waves like...gentle or pounding powerfully? You may have seen yourself under a shower at home or sitting by a waterfall in nature. Or one of my favourites, walking in the rain.... Perhaps you invoked an image of somewhere you desire to experience one day. Whatever image came to mind, there are clues towards what your soul is saying you need for yourself. If you feel drawn to make time to be in or around water, give yourself the gift of nurturing yourself in this way. The images shown here were taken last year on Lord Howe Island. My partner and I set off for a hike in the dark in the hopes of being greeted by a beautiful sunrise at the top. It was one of my heart desires during our time on the island and nature sure did provide. All we had to do was get out of bed and make our way there. Now I have the beautiful memories of that day together, along with these stunning images to bring forth the energy of that time whenever I wish. 11.01.2022 I used to regularly change the message on the chalk board. This one’s been up for over a year now. It was a hand written inscription inside a book I purchased. It lit me up then and still lights me up now. I’ve noticed a similar effect on others who’ve seen it. The power of words ... Keep your beautiful smile shining

10.01.2022 As someone with an overactive mind, if I allow it to do its own thing I will run into overthinking patterns which can lead into anxiousness. One of the ways I learned to focus my mind and ground me back into my body, is through using my hands to create. I do this in many ways, and one of them is combining my love of crystals with the art of Silvercrafting.... I make these simply for the joy of doing so and from the heart. These pieces are gifts to myself or my partner which brings an element of intimacy into my creations. 10.01.2022 I wrote this poem almost 20yrs ago and for the past couple of months my spirit has been nudging at me to share it here. That requires courage for me. After sharing it during a workshop on the weekend, it was reflected back to me that although it was written so long ago, it’s relevance is actually for now in 2020. That it was written for these times.... A friend encouraged me to share further so here it is. I got up at 4.30am, drove to the beach and was greeted by a stunning sunrise....and....a pod of dolphins went by (after I’d finished recording). Nature’s way of rewarding me for my courage The poem is called More Than Me Enjoy More Than Me Am I being all that I could be Am I everything that you see And in my strive for obtaining perfection Do I lose out by my avid selection Prosperity, peace, happiness Abundance and love that is endless What really matters to me Is there really more than you see Can I really make dreams come true And have I always knew Am I really more than this body Does my soul really sing a melody And even when chaos prevails Is Divine Guidance still blowing her sails Is harmony truly all around Everywhere to be found So when the rain hasn’t fallen for a year And the farmers are shedding a tear Does Mother Earth really know what she’s doing Is there something far greater brewing Through earthquakes, wars, and loss of life Searching for children, a husband, a wife And the rest of us are sadly left guessing Can such loss of life truly be deemed a blessing We live in such times of confusion Yet how much is just an illusion Weapons of mass destruction Or weapons of mass distraction Emotions are universal The same energy runs through us all So if we’re divinely connected Why insist on being protected These are the things I don’t understand And destruction of life on the same piece of land When so many others have more than they need To take from those who have little to feed I ask myself what does it all mean Then remember, things aren’t always what they seem There’s more to life than we’ll ever know Have trust, have faith, and the love will show So when I awake feeling lonely or sad And hurt for the losses I’ve had Do I really have angels above Caressing and holding me, sending me love And when I’m caught up in paying the bills I forget to be quiet and still And my heads feeling busy and scattered Have I forgotten what truly does matter I know there’s another me My child within I don’t always see Yet when I listen I know that she’s there With an abundance of gifts to share There’s so much more that I could ask As I risk coming out from behind the mask By writing a poem or playing guitar And painting in colour my dreams go far Little by little I’m beginning to find Much around me to remind There really is more than what we see In life, in you, and in me Jaks Watters

08.01.2022 I awoke at 4.30am this morning with the words in my head go out and look at the stars Yeah right I thought, it’s cold outside and I’m snug in here. But then I stopped myself. I’ve learned to listen to these intuitive guidance nudges. So up I got and stepped out into the back yard. Even the puppies were telling me it was too early as they stayed in bed ... The night sky was stunning There was no moonlight so the stars and planets were exceptionally bright. The air was still, there was a beautiful silence and the air crisp and fresh. Peace and serenity is offered to us in many forms, no matter what chaos is happening in the outer world. We just need to listen and respond when we’re being guided towards it. Fun fact: did you know we are made of the same stuff as stars?

04.01.2022 Here is verse from a poem I wrote a couple of decades ago: And even when chaos prevails Is Divine Guidance still blowing her sails? Is harmony truly all around ... Everywhere to be found? I found my answer to this soul seeking question from that time. Indeed it is and harmony must first exist within to alter our outer experiences. It’s quite incredible to realise how much of my past internal suffering was completely unnecessary and was in fact self-created. One of the ways to bring ourselves back to a calm inner state of being is through the expression of gratitude. Journaling gratitude is one of my spiritual tools for life. Does your relationship with yourself have space for a gratitude practice?

04.01.2022 One of the things I love about being human is our ability to learn and grow, and that each day and in each moment we get to choose again. Nearing the end of year is a natural time to reflect on the seeds or weeds we watered in our mind, and what they’re steering us towards. I’m letting go of some of the weeds I’ve identified through this incredible year, and watering the seeds that have served me well.... One of those seeds is opening up my creativity in new ways, and this Apple Pencil drawing is the outcome. Make room for the things you love
