24.01.2022 We recently replaced this Front Landing on this early 1970's home as it was rotted out and unsafe. The roof had dropped 75mm, lets just say that no sledge hammers were required in the demolition process. We installed a new full length Steel column, replaced the Decking, Balustrade and Stair case. Client had requested same paint finish as prior, so we used our mates at Pristine Painting QLD. 24.01.2022 As some of you might know the Way Out West Fest in Winton started this week and finishes up Tomorrow. Gentry Constructions had the privilege of building the Spotted Gum Stage & Pool Deck which was used specifically for this Festival at the North Gregory Hotel. We also built an Ironbark Outdoor Shower, "Banjos Bar" and all the Fencing in the Beer Garden of this Grand Old Lady.... 20.01.2022 NEVER FEAR, WE ARE STILL HERE!!! Firstly we would like to apologise for the lack of social media presence to date. We have been quite busy the last few months, and here is a little glimpse into what we have been up to... Gentry has been lucky enough to be selected to help assist in the Construction of the new Minjerribah Cultural Centre on North Stradbroke Island. As most of us can attest "Straddie" is one of QLDs most iconic tourist destinations and we are very excited an...d appreciative to have been chosen for this project. Gentrys role, although small, in this massive project is to construct an Architectural Timber Roof, which has been nicknamed the "Gabul Roof". (Bundjalung meaning for Gabul - Carpet Snake) We are happy to announce that we have officially started our part of this project and we wanted to share with you, some progress pics thus far. They also requested a more entertaining outdoor area so we built in a BBQ and Breakfast Bar so they can now enjoy their city views in style. 06.01.2022 A productive day was had yesterday with slab preperation and a 10 cube concrete pour at our current Cleveland job, and best of all our youngest apprentice Jaiden learnt how to close off concrete. We are definately on track to start the new carport build depending on this upcoming weather of course. 02.01.2022 Renovation - Raised Up Our clients wanted to take advantage of the underneath of their elevated single storey house to accommodate for their growing family and here is what we did... The previous layout-... Upstairs: 3 Bedrooms, Living room, Kitchen and 1 Bathroom Downstairs: Double Garage and Laundry The renovations included the existing home to be raised up and to build in underneath, which has now given our clients a new kitchen, living/meals area, media room, study, laundry, toilet and foyer/entrance. The existing level was also fully renovated, which now accommodates 4 spacious bedrooms, Main Bathroom, Toilet and a Walk in Robe and Ensuite. And to replace the garage, we built a new double carport off of the front of the house. Overall this job was a complete success in our eyes and we have some very happy clients, take a peek for yourself!
