12.01.2022 Earth Day 2021 Theme - Restore Our Earth, The focus of earth day on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world's ecosystems. The cosmetic industry is continually being reimagined and ingredient sourcing is at the forefront of innovation for many companies.... Green chemistry and biotech methods such as plant tissue culturing techniques have allowed live plant cells to be harvested in order to capture the active compounds in plants. We have to be more conscious than ever about the wise use of land resources and these techniques allow for continuous extraction from live plants in a controlled environment without the destruction of the plant meaning no need for high amounts of water and agricultural land space. Techniques such as bio-ferments also increase availability and concentration of active ingredients. This is all good news for the cosmetic industry and the environment. #earthday2021 #greenbeautyrevolution #greenbeautybloggers #greenskincare #plantbasedskincare #greenbeautyproducts #greenbeautycommunity #premiumskincare #plantbasedbeauty #australianskincare #naturalbeautybrands #ethicalbeauty #ecoluxebeauty #sustainableskincare #sustainablebeauty #noharshchemicals #recycyclablepackaging #sustainablepackaging #ecoconscious #earthfriendlyproducts #australianskincare See more
07.01.2022 Who doesn't love clay? Clay is great, but it can dry the skin out and be too stimulating for many skin types, causing irritation and dryness. We incorporate bentonite into or cleanser so you get the detoxifying benefits without the irritation.... You can also use the cleanser as a mask for a boost in detoxification while also nourishing and hydrating your skin - the best of both worlds! #skincleanser #cleanskincareproducts #bestskincareever #bestskinofyourlife #gentleskincleanser #gentleskincare #skinscience #safecosmetics #sulphatefree #fragrancefree #noharshchemicals #toxicfreeskincare #hypoallergenic #parabenfreeskincare #pthalatefree #toxinfreebeauty #crueltyfreeskincare #veganskincareproducts #skincareingredients #skincarescience #cleanbeautyrevolution #greenbeautycommunity #cleanskincare #plantbasedskincare #naturalbeautybrands #healthyskincare #hypoallergenicskincare #skincarethatworks #healthyskincare See more
06.01.2022 Cruelty free claims are very important to consumers, and rightly so. Animal testing of cosmetics is banned in Australia and many other countries. The landscape changes though when exporting products overseas although most countries have banned the practice or are in the process of banning it. If cosmetic companies export to China they still have to submit their products for animal testing. It is not necessary to test cosmetics on animals... anymore. There have been significant scientific advances on our ability to test materials and formulas on cultured skin cells (in vitro) so there is no need to for the barbaric practice of animal testing, especially when the in vitro testing is more accurate and less expensive. One other factor that is often overlooked is that brands need to do a complete audit of every ingredient in their products to make sure that these individual ingredients have not been tested on animals as well in order to truly say that their products are cruelty free. Most new active ingredients and new functional ingredients are no longer tested on animals but it does require reading through all the documentation supplied with every ingredient to absolutely confirm this. Unfortunately, many of the ingredients that have been around for years were originally tested on animals because this was before in vitro testing there was no other way to deem them safe for topical use. Consumers make the choice to not support brands that allow animal testing in order to sell into other countries, so with the continued backlash by consumers hopefully the practice of animal testing will be banned worldwide in the not too distant future #crueltyfree #noanimaltesting #safecosmetics #cruetyfreebeauty #crueltyfreeskincare #australianskincare See more
01.01.2022 Always great to hear feedback for our Bio-Rejuvenation Intensive Oil "Beautiful Oil! I love an oil that doesn’t feel sticky and this is just that! It’s not too heavy, it doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on top of your skin and feels really great on. My skin looked brighter and more hydrated - if you want a great glow, this is it!"
