11.01.2022 The Geocache of the Month for February 2021 is an Adventure Lab Sydney's Operatic Operation by Zalgariath. It was nominated by The GCNSW Committee (no points will be awarded for this nomination). This is the first Adventure Lab to win the GOTM. The first waypoint is at the Sydney Opera House and will provide tourists and locals with a very interesting experience. ... Zalgariath says of this Adventure Lab This Adventure Lab will take you to, around and above some of the most famous landmarks the city has to offer, recalling the history of their part in the development of Sydney. Put your walking shoes on as this Lab can only be done on foot and you’ll clock up nearly 5km’s before you are through. It will take you about two hours to complete unless you get ‘distracted’ along the way!. Calypso62 said this of the adventure lab That was totally awesome. I absolutely loved every waypoint, but the most impressive part of this AL were the wonderful videos. A lot of work has gone into this one. 10/10 Zal. Love your work mate." nathanjhunt wrote Definitely the best AL I’ve ever completed. The videos were a wonderful personal touch and the answers were easily solved.. Its_Dozzie logged This is an awesome AL and all you would expect from the Lab caches. Well thought out, with informative videos and each waypoint well chosen. Thanks for this great adventure which I enjoyed start to finish. This awesome AL has a 5 star rating and will take you to 8 key locations in the heart of the Quay, the Rocks and Kirribilli. A video at each waypoint will give you a clue and will require you to make observations or read information plaques in order to answer a question and progress. You can complete the adventure all in one go or do in stages over multiple days. Found a great cache that you want the world to know about?
