11.01.2022 My interactive robotic artwork "Popping Houses" has been announced as a finalist for the 2020 Aesthetica Art Prize. UK based Aesthetica Magazine runs this award annually. I just received my copy of the printed book: "Future Now" including all the finalist artists.

06.01.2022 "Six Devices : Popping Houses" is an artwork that tells the story of its own composition, using six artistic devices. These devices are compositional tactics from my "toolbox", specifically; volume, familiarity, reflection, colour, repetition, and interaction. The final composition, with all six devices active, is an interactive kinetic tableau based on a childish house pictogram.

"Where They Create" is his international project documenting artists creative spaces.

04.01.2022 "Twist" 2020, by Geoffrey Drake-Brockman. A 16-part aluminium sculpture installation at Riverena Building in Rivervale WA. Each element is 5.5m tall and has an undulating form that expresses a sine wave. All 16 elements are unique, with the underlying sine wave parameters of phase, amplitude and wavelength varying progressively over the installation. The overall pattern emerges when its triangular facets catch the sunlight.
