16.01.2022 To help ensure we continue to deliver to our customers in full, on time, Geographe is investing once again in new #manufacturing technology. Shown below from our Bunbury, WA manufacturing plant are Damien Wornum - Programmer, Ryan Risdon - Automation Leader & Josh Denham - Programming Leader. Why are they all smiling? They have just seen what our latest addition to our workshop is capable of....... The new #Multus U5000 from Okuma Australia is a twin spindle, twin turret, 5-axis multi-tasking lathe cell. We will be coupling it with a Fanuc yellow robot and a Modula Sintes vertical storage unit for maximising unattended & continuous production. The Multus U5000 cells primary goal will be the efficient multi-turret/chuck production of bushes in the Ø100-Ø320 range, secondary single turret/chuck production of bushes Ø320 to Ø500, and subsidiary production of pins < 150kg, gear cutting and prototyping 5-axis work like impellers. These size range bushes and pins are produced by Geographe to support OEM's, Tier 1 miners, and their offsite repairers to maintain machines from #Caterpillar, #Hitachi, #Komatsu & #Liebherr in Australia and around the world. #askustoinnovate #designedtodeliver #innovation

15.01.2022 In 2013 Geographe issued our first edition parts poster to suit TB60 Drill Booms... This poster was well received by sites and workshops around Australia due to its ease of reference versus traditional OEM parts books. It was reissued due to popular demand in 2015 and revised and re-issued again in 2018. As part of our continuous improvement process, Geographe has now updated this poster for 2021. This update includes over 100 additional parts making it our most compreh...ensive version to date. Released in February, this revised version ran out of its initial print run in its first month of issue. Due to continuing customer demand, we are now re-issuing this latest version upon request. If you would like to request a poster for your mine site or workshop, please click the link below for more information on how to receive one: https://hubs.ly/H0KLKYH0 #askustoinnovate #designedtodeliver #engineering #innovation #mining #sandvik #tamrock
