23.01.2022 They are many creatures that live on our plant and go unnoticed. So small and quick even our cameras struggle to capture them.

17.01.2022 Yesterday it was a wild night in NYC. The Secrets of the Kimberley took out the award for Best Ecosystem Film! For the first time strangers are buying me beer, audience cuing up to chat about the inspiring photography of Peter Strain and the press asking me about the environmental values of the Kimberley marine estate. Thanks to my great mates and crew including Clifford Terry and Helen Punton who worked tirelessly to get the film finished over many years, WAMSI who took us there and or sponsors who believed in us from the start. I am very grateful for the amazing experience and where this film has taken us.

04.01.2022 Is this your Science Day Job! Sometime I wonder how many environmental scientists actually get out into the field and have real encounter with nature? As part of our film The Secrets of the Kimberley these scientists were experiencing what most of us wish for. Real encounters with real wildlife. For as moment we felt privileged, then possibly in danger. It was the fine balance between certainty and uncertainty that makes science so exciting. We were observing an mother and calf humpback whale. As the mother approached us the behaviour was either curiosity or a warning. I am not sure. Any suggestions from experts?

03.01.2022 We produced this film some years back on Ningaloo marine park. In 2019 I believe it is still one of the most pristine marine environments in Australia. I think you will love the manta rays and whale sharks- Spectacular!
