16.01.2022 Just wanted to say a big congratulations to one of our awesome Child and Family Centre families on the newest addition to their brood! Congrats to Danni, Luke, Kaiah, Zylar, And Haylie on the arrival of Kitana Grace. I am sure she will bring even more happiness to your family. Can't wait to meet her :)

15.01.2022 A new name - at yesterdays meeting we talked a lot about misconceptions regarding the Child and Family Centre in our community. One issue is people not understanding what a Local Enabling Group really is. We felt that we needed a name that better reflects who we are and what we do - we arent just a gang of "Government boffins", we are a group of parents, community members, and community service staff who believe bettering the outcomes of children and families in our area. So we are pleased to let everyone know that we shall now be working towards the establishment of our Child and Family Centre under a new name, one that better reflects who we are - the Parents and Friends of the George Town Child and Family Centre! Hope we can be bringing you all lots more exciting and posiitive news in the near future. Trudi :)

07.01.2022 Playgeoup at Hillwood is starting soon! I've just been at the Hillwood community hall to check out the space for playgroup. I'm so excited, the little room there is fantastic - cant wait to see it filled with little people playing.
