22.01.2022 Save the date for the 2020 Dogz Day Out !!! Saturday 8th February 2020 Regent Square, George Town Join George Town Council and Friends of Low Head Penguins at this years Dogz Day Out - An event to showcase our community penguins and dogs.... Visit the information booths and learn about the Low Head Little Penguins and their environment, responsible dog management, chat with our Wildlife Discovery Officer, and meet the events ambassadors Macca and Penny ! Discount Microchipping, Dog Exhibitions and Competitions, Childrens Activities, YMCA Launceston activities, food and refreshments. Event commences at 11.00am through to 4.00pm. This is a free community event. In conjunction with the Dogz Day Out, Council will be hosting the YMCA Skate Park League.

18.01.2022 Excited to have Leaps and Bounds Dog Training at this years event. Kathy and her volunteers will be doing demonstrations on agility, tricks and rally o, take your dog through the agility course, loose lead demonstrations and much more. Make sure you check out Kathys booth and attend these great workshops. Times to be announced shortly.
16.01.2022 Big Bite Dutch Treats is one of the exciting food stalls that will be in attendance at our 2020 Dogz Day Out.. They will be selling Stroopwafels (Dutch Syrup waffles), oliebollen (Dutch donuts), apple beignets and award winning biscuits. We cant wait to see the amazing outfits on the day. No need to enter, just bring your dog along on the day (on a lead of course), and join in the fun.... 12.01.2022 Exciting news with the Launceston Veterinary clinic confirming attendance at our Dogz Day Out. Coupled with the RSPCA, North East Animal Sanctuary, Dog Grooming Stall, speciality doggy stalls (treats, leads and collars), competitions, dog photographer and doggy photo booth - the day is going to be a great one for dogs and their families. Oh, and we will also be catering for owners with childrens face painting and activities, and food & refreshment stalls, including the Geor...ge Town Football Clubs BBQ. 10.30am to 2.30pm at the Dog Park, Sports Complex George Town. Thank you to George Town Main Meats for your donation of a voucher as one of our prizes for the day.

So many great promotions, childrens activities, dog obedience and skills demonstrations, food stalls, dog treats, Windy Peak Alpacas, live music, discount microchipping, and the introduction of the events two mascots Penny and Macca ! ps - you dont need to be a dog owner to come along and enjoy everything the event has to offer.
