04.01.2022 COVID-19 Statement As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect people across Australia and the world, we wanted to let you know that we continue to be here for all your sight and spectacle issues throughout this difficult time. First and foremost our store is still open with our normal trading hours. If any of our staff are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms, they are staying home and resting. As members of our community, we ask you to please do the same, and we will be... happy to assist you to rebook your appointment when you are feeling better. As a health care provider, we always maintain high clinical and hygiene standards in our stores as this is critical in helping to prevent the spread of any infectious disease, including COVID-19. Given the increased threat we are all facing from COVID-19, we have introduced some additional measures, based on advice received from Australian Government, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO). These include: * Reducing close contact between team members and customers where possible (the Australian Government’s new social distancing restriction of one person per every four-square metres DOES NOT apply to optometrists, who are considered an essential healthcare service) * Following the advice of local health authorities for close contact within healthcare practices As members of the local community we feel that now, more than ever, is the time to come together to care for each other. We are grateful to all of our customers who continue to allow us to care for their sight health in these uncertain times and we send our best wishes and support to those of you choosing to stay at home.
