20.01.2022 Lambing season kicked off with these two adorable twin lambs... so there was lots of early morning lamb cuddling! More being born each day and we have ewes with lambs at foot for sale now

19.01.2022 It was great to see the kids working together to collect mulch for our new garlic bed... lots of team work and fun with a paddock picnic to reward the workers! :) Our garlic will be cozy over winter under all that straw!

18.01.2022 After all the rain we've had it was nice to see some sunshine! I love this time of morning when the rays of sunshine highlight the bees taking off like hundreds of tiny shooting stars!

17.01.2022 Honey is back!! Thank you to everyone who has been patiently waiting for honey, sorry it’s been such a long wait! This honey was harvested yesterday!.. So fresh and full of goodness and totally delicious!!!

14.01.2022 We had a successful weekend at the Bello show with a white Orpington hen winning ‘Champion large soft feather’ and Black Indian runner duck getting first place in ‘waterfowl AOV duck’! :)

14.01.2022 Heard a commotion down in the chook coops tonight and found this little python in one of the coops. He was only chasing a rat and I’d be more than happy to have him around if only we could come to an agreement that chooks are friends not food! Unfortunately he’ll be going for a long drive tomorrow as I’m not convinced he’d keep his end of the bargain!

10.01.2022 Hands down the BEST watermelons we have ever grown! In fact perhaps the best watermelons we’ve ever tasted! It’s hard to get sick of eating watermelon especially when they’re so big n juicy and totally organic! Yum! :)

09.01.2022 It's that time of year again and this morning we were all excited to find our beloved Mary had given birth to a lamb.. we had wondered if she would have twins but it was just one big healthy baby! :)

08.01.2022 The weather is warming up and the pungent smell of fresh garlic is in the air! My helpers did a great job pulling up bulbs, cutting stalks and carting piles to the wheelbarrow...! Keep an eye on our stall as we’ll have fresh garlic and honey available very soon!

07.01.2022 Back in business! We’re pleased to say our honey and produce stall is open again! Unfortunately due to an increasing amount of stolen produce we have been forced to move the stall from the roadside to just inside the gate of our property. Please take care on the steps especially when wet! Thanks again for your support!

06.01.2022 Our beautiful jersey cow Ana finally had her long awaited calf! I was lucky enough to find her hidden away in this sunny glade just after birthing and was able to watch her her calf taking his first wobbly steps! ... next challenge is to try our hand at milking!

06.01.2022 A great day today out at Symons Dads farm in Thora. I love these opportunities when we can work together on jobs like this garlic planting which would have taken one person a full day or more, we knocked over in less than an hour! Ella was pretty excited to to find this enormous bulb of garlic amongst last season's crop, almost as big as her head!! :)

03.01.2022 I don’t often have adult birds for sale but currently have a very handsome young pair of Buff Orpingtons. Picture is of parents and young chicks, I can send a picture of the actual birds upon request or view on gumtree. $90 pair.

03.01.2022 Feeling grateful that the worst we have had to endure is smokey air and a few blackened leaves falling... Devastated for those who have lost so much in these fires and also for the precious wildlife and habitat lost... Immensely thankful for the brave people tirelessly fighting..

02.01.2022 Gotta love our friendly plymouth rock pullets, this young hen flew up onto my shoulder whilst I was watching the kids climb trees and sat there for 5 minutes quite happily! :)
