24.01.2022 Update from the Under 12 Arch Cawsey Shield Div 1 team On Sunday the team went from 6-50 in the 19th over, and staring down the barrel of a big loss, to a desperate last ditch effort which resulted in a tie when they equalled Sutherland’s 181 on the last ball of the match. Whilst there were a few contributors, the hero of the remarkable comeback was undoubtably Will McMahon who came in at number 8, scoring 89 off 53 balls and was only out when coming back for a 3rd on the las...t ball in a valiant attempt to get us the win. Will is the boy in the right foreground of the photo with helmet in hand. Well done to all the boys! Awesome effort Will! You’ve done us proud!

18.01.2022 All Seniors Cricket has been called off this afternoon due to the weather.

15.01.2022 Reminder- 2nd free session for the Girls Cricket is on tomorrow if you want to go again or have missed the first one!

15.01.2022 Senior Cricket is on this afternoon. One match at Moore Park had to be declared a draw (5th Grade Clovelly vs Beverly Hills) as that ground was closed. Otherwise, all matches are on. Teams/Umpires will need to assess conditions at the ground.... For matches that got on last week and got past the minimum number of overs, just remember that the ‘adjusted’ overs are the total each team needs to face as at the scheduled start of play today (1.30pm). If any further time is lost, each side must receive half the number of overs it was meant to face at 1.30pm to constitute a match, even if the start of play is then delayed. For Example if your adjusted overs mean that each team needs to face 46 overs, then each team must face at least 23 overs to constitute a match. If further time is lost today, and the overs are further reduced (especially in the second innings, but even if time is lost early so both innings are reduced), then the side batting second must face 23 overs for it to be a game (assuming the side batting first has already faced at least 23 overs). Otherwise, it’s a draw. For those matches being played as 1-dayers today, each team must receive 18 overs to constitute a match, no matter how much time is lost. Best of luck to all Nick Aley Association Secretary

14.01.2022 Seniors Prelim Finals have been abandoned for Saturday. All matches are now one-dayers tomorrow (weather permitting). If your club has teams participating, please let them know.... Apologies to those Juniors teams and the umpires that had to show up this morning. Thanks for trying!
