25.01.2022 We would like to advise, on Monday the 14th of December, we will be closed to the public. We will be working off site to ensure minimal disruption whilst bringi...ng all the planning of our New Years Eve event together. Our food box program will be moved to Tuesday the 15th for that week only. All those with appointments for us or with a visiting service have been rescheduled. 23.01.2022 Street gym update! Due to poor weather ( an no usage after 4pm) we have decided to pack up our street gym each day at 4pm when we close. Our volunteers were coming back at 5pm and closing but it was for nothing so hopefully in the warmer months we can extend our hours to 8pm and have new equipment :) Happy weekend :)

20.01.2022 *edit- These have all been allocated for today check out our Calendar for Anti Poverty Week to see what else we have on offer! We have secured enough food to create 25 boxes this week. This week's boxes include: a pizza, a pkt of garlic bread, a pkt of salami, a pkt of hotdogs and a bag of hotdog rolls, a bottle of juice, a bottle of fizz and a box of ice creams :) These donations have come from Neighbourhood House food relief grant and The Benevolent Society :) collection of food boxes is at 11.30am :)

19.01.2022 we have 8 races 6 horses with six jockeys on each 7 of the races are worth $50cash to the winning jockey selected via raffle draw on the the night the final race is a $100 cash prize to the winning jockey winners are determined by dice roll.... each race gives punters the chance to bet with their funny money and also win more funny money to be used at the end of the night to bid on some amazing auction items gift vouchers, wine, camp stretchers, soup maker, pure romance pack, netballs and so much more. these nights are so much fun so come along enjoy a night out and help us raise some funds for new years eve.

17.01.2022 We are excited to announce that as of Monday the 3rd of August our Street Gym will be open for community use. We were lucky enough to receive some innovations funding to begin this project, over time more pieces will be added ( subject to funding naturally) We have put together a little short video that shows how to access the equipment. Once we get the hang of setting up and packing up and improving the space we will do a re - shoot. Feel free to drop your name if your interested in being in our video :) * no one was harmed from exercise during the making of this video ;P

09.01.2022 Due to our wonderful partnership with Food Bank Hobart we have been able to purchase heavily discounted bulk frozen food for our food box program. Our order arrived today and they send us extra goodies. Only downside is lack of freezer space :( does anyone have a freezer for sale ? Will look at anything :)

07.01.2022 Just putting it out there! - We have only three tables booked for our Trivia night. We have an additional table made up of people that do not have a group to bring. 4 tables will have a blast, showcasing their talent and contribute to our New Years Eve Event. We have Park Run, Melissa Mac and Co and Alec Daniels and lads. If you feel sorry for us cause we try hard and dont get anywhere, please book a table or register yourself as a solo participant and we will find you a table. With out your support we can not lock in awesome new attractions. We need your help and support. :)
