16.01.2022 ANZAC DAY GEORGE TOWN Organisations and others intending to participate in the 11am service are advised that the March will commence in the vicinity of the Cenotaph in Macquarie Street and adjacent to car park. Forming up time for the March is 10.30am with the march off at 10.45am. The parade will proceed to the Max Harris Memorial Reserve for the service. The Dawn service commencing at 5.50am will also be held at the Max Harris Memorial Reserve.... Breakfast will be served at the RSL Clubrooms after the Dawn Service, cost $10 for all members and guests. Lunch will be available after the 11am service at a cost of $20 for single and $35 for double, $10 for children. Tickets will be available for both Breakfast and Lunch at the RSL Clubrooms from April 14th. Children must be out of Clubrooms by 2pm or as soon as they have finished their lunch. Sub Branch members requiring transport to attend either of these services should contact the Secretary prior to ANZAC DAY. Anyone wishing to make a Legacy donation or lay a wreath for aAnzac, please contact the RSL or send in donation. See more
