Let us all hope that the challenges we saw in 2020 are now past, and we can move forward to an exciting year of football. In such a challenging year, we certainly appreciate the ongoing support that the Club receives from everyone. Special mention to the committee who have worked hard to keep the culture of the Club together, whilst working with our stakeholders to ensure that the Club is ready for next year. 23.01.2022 NTFA BOAGS ST. GEORGE GRAND FINALS Saturday 26 September 2020 Missed out on tickets? We are pleased to advise that the NTFA, with support from the Meander Valley Council and Duff TV, will be live streaming both the Under 21 Final and the Senior Final.... The George Town Motel will be the venue for the Live Streaming. Come along and watch the footy live on the big screen, and cheer on our Under 21 Team. The atmosphere will be great ! PLEASE NOTE: Minors are not permitted to drink alcohol on licensed premises under any circumstances. Depending on the situation, a minor may be allowed on licensed premises. A minor may be on licensed premises if they are in the company of a responsible adult. A responsible adult is defined as a person who is 18 years or older and is: the minor's parent, step-parent, guardian, grandparent, or the minor's spouse who is over the age of 18 years, or a person who is acting in place of a parent and who could reasonably be expected to exercise responsible supervision of the minor for example, a sporting coach. #saints2020

22.01.2022 The NTFA have today announced the key dates for the 2021 season. The football kicks off the week after Easter on Saturday 10th April. The 12th June long-weeken...d there will be no matches, and the Grand Final for Division 1 and Senior Women will be on Saturday, September 4. The Premier Division Grand Final will be on Saturday, September 11. Detailed rosters will be released in November. See more

Us just quietly :) Reminder that the game will be screened live at the George Town Motel from 11.30am, or via the link posted on this page. As a Club we are extremely proud of our Under 21 team's ability to come together during the COVID-19 restrictions, and to put 100% effort into each training session and game. This has resulted in success on the scoreboard, and a group of young men who have made the Club and the com...munity of George Town Proud. To recognise this, the Club invites everyone to come along to a post Grand Final Social Function being held at the Club on Saturday evening, commencing at 6.30pm. 18.01.2022 Another exciting project for our Club. With thanks to Bridget Archer and Bell Bay Advanced Manufacturing Zone for their continued support of our Club. The new AFL standard lights will give the club the ability to host all four teams at home, and to have twilight games. This project, in conjunction with various projects the club has been been working on to improve our facilities, our culture, and community pride, all auger well for a very exciting 2021 season. #saints2021

05.01.2022 2021 COACHING STAFF APPOINTMENTS The George Town Football Club is pleased to announce that Adam Zanevra has been appointed as Senior Coach for Season 2021. After mentoring our 21 Team this year Adam, with the support of Assistant Coaches Anthony Axton and Shaun Muller, will lead us back to Blue Gum Park. After such a challenging year, we encourage our football community to get behind Adam and his Team. Dave Marshall has been reappointed as Women's Coach. Dave has been the... coach and mentor for our Women's Teams for three years, and has been instrumental in the growth of women's football in George Town. Leading our Under 18 Team for Season 21 is Jason Sheppard and Troy Spinks. The Club congratulates the coaching staff on their appointment and look forward to Season 2021. If we wish to see football in George Town, it is more important than ever that the community as a whole are positive and proactive in supporting our teams. To reconnect the football community post COVID-19, a "Back to Blue Gum Park Family Day" will be held on the 6th December. With George Town not fielding a ladies team this season, Brianna Hinkley, Tyeisha Hinds and Letitia Hancock joined Scottsdale for the year and have continued to improve their skills and knowledge of the game.
