09.01.2022 Sharing today, on a day ruled by Jupiter....... Track #7 from my album from - I met the universe half way - -------------------------JUPITER---------------------------... This piece of music was inspired by Gustav Holst’s Jupiter from his The Planets Op.32. The original music was composed around 1914/1916 and each movement is named after a planet of the solar system. I was drawn to Jupiter - the bringer of Jollity (joy/cheerfulness) at a time when I wanted to express and conjure a feeling of joy in my life. I have taken a short section of melody played by the horns, violas and celli in the opening and woven it into an electro-acoustic jazz/Crumhorn-esque piece.
