Stage 1 of this major residential development on the Brisbane southside has kicked off. According to the final plans on the Brisbane City Council website, the development will comprise of 254 residential lots of varying sizes with allocated green spaces throughout. With its proximity to local shops, schools, public ...transport as well as access to major arterials, I can see these lots being quite popular among families looking to build their dream homes. It will also be interesting to see how a development of this magnitude will impact traffic on local roads like Warrigal and Underwood Road. 03.01.2022 Qlders have done a great job "flattening the curve" and with the easing of restrictions as of May 2nd 2020, I just wanted to clarify for some of my buyers and sellers that it hasn't meant that open homes are back to normal as yet. But instead the rules around the number of persons who can inspect a home and to allow persons from mixed groups (as opposed to one family) to come through have been relaxed. Previously there was only 2 persons permitted in the property at any give...n time and they had to be from the same household. Now, continuing with the scheduled inspections instead of advertised "open homes", there is a maximum of 6 people permitted inside at any one time (including the agent). That can be groups from different households. Most importantly, we must continue to adopt good hygiene practices and social distancing.
