25.01.2022 Oh hey Facebook world. It’s been a long while since I’ve written a proper post, but I’m still here! Truth is, I’ve been the busiest bee ever with some big exciting news that I’ll share with you ASAP. In the mean time, I just wanted to jump on and say hello and break my hiatus! I’m also on a total high after running my first masterclass this arvo since COVID - holy moley I’ve missed doing that so much! Over 200 people tuned in online from @salesforceapac for a private cook along and it was amazing. We made my red lentil bolognese (pictured - which I have since eaten and now wearing all down my front). I know it’s an oldie, but if you want to make this too, wear black and I’ll pop the recipe link below for you! See you soon! X http://www.georgiabarnes.com.au/red-lentil-bolognese

24.01.2022 Be guilt free and shameless // I’ve seen so many posts about ‘fixing’ the over-indulging from the festive season and had many conversations with people this week too. Rather than beat yourself up and attach guilt and shame to all the fun you had, reflect on the memories and good times you spent with your people while enjoying all the foods and drinks! It’s important to get back into a healthy routine after a holiday (I’m with you), but don’t be unkind to yourself and dwell on the bad thoughts. We’re all human, and in the long run, reinforcing that mindset will do more damage than any of the baked goods! X

20.01.2022 Recipe // Easy seed and olive oil bread. Low carb, gluten free, dairy free, grain free - this stuff is delicious and such a simple, homemade way to add extra protein and healthy fats into your diet. Fresh or toasted it totally works as brekky food, on its own or on the side with your favourite soup or slow braise. Throw some garlic butter on it and it’s a hella-good, low carb garlic bread too! Recipe link below. If you’d also like to watch me whip this up start to finish, jump on over to Cobram Estate’s Instagram and scroll through their IGTV. Let me know how you go! http://www.georgiabarnes.com.au/easy-seed-olive-oil-bread

Probably one of my top 5... this one is gluten free, dairy free, grain free, sooo moissst, no icing required and impossible to mess up. Recipe link below. 07.01.2022 RECIPE | Kanzi Apple, Iceberg + Maple Walnut Salad. Need a salad recipe in your life that’s not boring!? Sweet and savoury, this plate of delicious is my twist on the classic Waldorf. It celebrates my fave @KanziApple.Australia and the best of autumn produce! Kanzi apples are sweet and tangy, bringing a whole new level of flavour to this salad! Enjoy this one as a simple starter, or as the perfect side to roast chicken or pork. Oh, and it’s also gluten free and dairy free!... Link in my bio for the recipe. Hot tip: To stop your Kanzi apples oxidising, pre-slice before plating and keep them in a little cold water and lemon juice in the fridge. Simply drain them before serving and voila! You’ll have perfectly white, crisp slices! #kanziapple #kanzi #ambassador
