23.01.2022 If I had a dollar for every time I was thankful in my mind but never said anything! #livevibrantly
23.01.2022 I love this wisdom. #livevibrantly
21.01.2022 I love easter time. Not just for the obvious reasons - delicious chocolate, time off with family and the delight on my kids faces when they see their eggs. They are great reasons! But I also love easter as it gives me a chance to disconnect from my daily routine early on in the year. And even though it’s only a four-day break from my usual day-to-day, I find it refreshing and use the downtime to reflect on the year so far and ask myself if I’m on track or not. If not I make a few adjustments and I’m ready to go again. I’m so thankful for these times and I hope you find easter refreshing as well. Happy easter! #livevibrantly
20.01.2022 This is a humbling thought! The people around us affect the way we think, they shape how we view the world, they impact our self-esteem, our decisions, and ultimately our actions. It's too hard to achieve what matters to you without being part of an inspiring and supportive community. This is such a vital part to living vibrantly that I have written an article about it here > georgiablack.co/yourtribe... I hope it inspires you to find your tribe and live more vibrantly.
20.01.2022 I'm really excited to invite you to my first round of half-day workshops on living vibrantly. These workshops have been designed to be intimate and practical to inspire you to take life to the next level. In these workshops you will re-discover the five key elements needed to live with more vitality. And at the end of our time together you will not only be inspired to live more vibrantly, you will also gain new insights and resources to increase your energy, strength, health... and happiness. But it’s not just about eating better and exercising more. Together we will also explore the important practices of sleeping well, being thankful and finding your people. The workshops will be held at the lovely Hazlehurst Gallery in Gymea on Friday June 29 and Sunday July 1. I hope you can make one of these dates, but if not please let me know that you're interested. These events are limited to a small number of people so if you miss out please let me know and I will put you at the top of the list for the next round of workshops. You can buy your tickets here > https://livevibrantlyworkshop.eventbrite.com.au I can't wait to see you there. Georgia
18.01.2022 One part of ageing we can control! #livevibrantly
18.01.2022 Best advice! #livevibrantly
15.01.2022 Let yourself enjoy that chocolate bunny this weekend. Remember, with a whole foods approach you can adopt the 80/20 principle. Be mindful and make good food choices 80% of the time and allow yourself a little flexibility with the other 20%. I hope you're having a great easter. #livevibrantly
13.01.2022 Love my early morning walks! What are you doing tomorrow morning? #livevibrantly
08.01.2022 Movement is medicine. #livevibrantly
08.01.2022 There are only three things you need to do each day to make sure you have the energy and strength to do the things you love. 1. Sleep well. 2. Eat healthy. 3. Move more. Just three things! They’re easy to remember, but let’s be honest, they're hard to keep on top of. Lately we’ve talked a lot about sleeping and eating well, and now it’s time to explore the third piece in the puzzle - keep your body moving. I've just written a short article about it if you’d like to have a q...uick read. In the article I look at how to integrate movement and exercise into a busy life, the benefit of incidental exercise, and the one part of ageing we can actually control. If you're interested you can read it here > http://georgiablack.co/just-keep-moving/ #livevibrantly
07.01.2022 There's still tickets left for my first two workshops on living vibrantly. I'd be thrilled to have you join me. The workshops will be held at the lovely Hazlehurst Gallery in Gymea on Friday June 29 and Sunday July 1. To find out more and book > bit.ly/livevibrantlyworkshop... Thank you ... #livevibrantly
07.01.2022 I am on the road this week, travelling to Coffs Harbour to look after the the athletes competing at the National Touch League #livevibrantly #touchfootballaustralia #NTL2018
05.01.2022 When we were kids most of us were told to sit still and to stop moving about so much! Kids move a lot! They’re excited by life and it’s wonderful to watch, unless you’re a teacher! But as adults it's too easy to get into routines that slow us down way too much. And it has both short and long term effects. My motto is to just keep moving! And learn from our kids about the benefits of not sitting still. #livevibrantly
04.01.2022 If you’re not the type to commit to regular exercise then try incidental exercise. This is basically the exercise you get in small bite-size chunks that build up over your day. You’d be surprised how good for you it can be. Here are a few examples > take the stairs instead of the lift, get off one station early and walk the rest of the way, dance to your favourite song when it comes on the radio. Your body will love you for it. #livevibrantly
04.01.2022 Eating whole food keeps the guesswork out of making good choices. #livevibrantly
04.01.2022 If it has been a while since you have done regular exercise start small and build up slowly. I believe the focus should be on getting your body moving so pick something that you enjoy doing and start incorporating it into your week. Walk, run, dance, swim there are so many options. #livevibrantly
02.01.2022 I love the extra family time that comes with a long weekend. We like to try to get the kids out of the house to do something that the weekly grind doesn’t allow. A swim at the beach, a bush walk, a bike ride. Fresh air, moving our body and spending time together. Perfect #livevibrantly
01.01.2022 It has been a great few days working with @nswtouch at NTLs 2018. I loved being back in a team environment and it was a great atmosphere having all the NSW touch teams together. Congratulations to the NSW Scorpians who took out the Womens open grand final ... #livevibrantly #nswtouch #touchfootballaustralia #NTL2018 See more
