21.01.2022 Let's talk about website conversion rates Do you know yours?? If not, you should go find out - today! ... What is a conversion rate? The percentage of website visitors who buy your product or service. How to calculate? You can choose to calculate your website as a whole or each separate landing page. Let's take, for example, if 150 people went to your website today and 2 people purchased your product/service. You would have a conversion rate of 2/150*100% = 1.33% Why does it matter when running Facebook ads? Let's say you ran an ad and spent $500 and had 150 visitors to your website to buy a $50 product. We will take two conversion rate examples and see our results. For the first, let's say your website conversion rate is 20%. If you had 150 visitors to your website and out of that 150, 20% purchased. So 30 people purchased your product. 30 X $50 = $1500 This means you spent $500 and got a return or $1500 For the second example, let's say your website conversion rate is 2%. If you had 150 visitors to your website and out of that 150, only 2% purchased. So 3 people purchased your product. 3 X $50 = $150 This means you spent 500 and got a return of $150 Which example would you prefer?? How can you improve your website conversion rate? A few tips: Test, test, test! Let your market tell you what converts. Test colours, placement of information, website copy, offers. Make sure your website is user friendly for mobile and desktop If you're an ecommerce store make sure you have clear shipping and returns policy or if you're a service/digital product a clear money-back guarantee Make sure your website loads fast Let me know below if you have any questions.

19.01.2022 I know I posted about this recently but it's so important!! If you are currently running Facebook ads OR plan to in the future (99% of you!).. you NEED to install the Facebook Pixel on your website today! Even if you aren't yet ready to advertise..... The Facebook pixel will start gathering data from your website visitors and the actions they are taking on your website.. (regardless of where they came from - Facebook, Google, direct, Pinterest etc) This means that when you do start advertising: Facebook will have a good idea on who your audience is. (It's like training a dog!) You will be able to use the data collected on your website to create high value audiences of people who have similar behaviours, interests and demographics as your previous website visitors. You will be able to retarget anyone who has landed on your website since you installed the pixel. You can even target them by their action - purchased, opted in to a lead magnet etc. Head to ads manager and create your pixel today if you don't have one. If you're using Shopify, Squarespace or Wix you just copy and paste your pixel ID. If you are using WordPress my preffered plugin is 'PixelYourSite' Hope this helps!!

05.01.2022 You know when you go to a website... And look at a product.. But you get distracted and leave..... Then hours later you're scrolling through Facebook and that EXACT product pops up right in front of your face.. That's the magic work of the Facebook Pixel. And that's not even the powerful part! The Facebook pixel can: Track anyone who visits your website (it doesn't matter where they have come from Facebook, Google, Instagram etc) and view which PAGE and/or PRODUCT they viewed Build audiences and send ads directly to people based on the page/product they viewed Build high value audiences that are similar to your current customers Show you what pages people are visiting and where they are dropping off (If you have an ecom store are they getting to the cart page and leaving, or are they getting right up to the checkout and leaving. Or if you're a local business maybe they've gone to your contact or registration page and then left the website) Even if you aren't advertising yet, you should have the Facebook pixel installed on your website to gather this data for when you DO start advertising. You need to train the Facebook machine just like we train our pets! And the pixel is the best way to do it. Your ads will perform much better if Facebook has data to learn from. In summary If the Facebook pixel isn't installed on your website, put it on the top of your priority list
