23.01.2022 Finally got around to creating my first wave of 2021! This is number 4 in the 'Waves' series. Usually I do some pinterest scrolling to get some inspiration but I just totally went with the flow, or I should say, just rode the wave Song of choice- "Cherub" by Ball Park Music. It'll be posted on my Etsy later tonight so keep an eye out on my fb and insta #georgiaspaintings #waves #acrylicpainting

10.01.2022 I just thought I'd hop on and tell you about how I "discovered" my style of painting. I studied art for my HSC and loved it, but, I had no idea of what to do for my Body of Work I wasn't someone who could draw a beautiful realistic drawing, I definitely wasn't a sculptor (my family and year 10 art teacher can testify to that) and I really didn't have much experience with different paints and mediums. All I really knew was that I loved colour and music and wanted to combine ...the two. I also really didn't want it to be a stressful process, I wanted it to be a "calm place" for me physically and mentally. I started researching and found there is a very strong connection between sounds and colours and that listening to different musical genres can really affect what colours and patterns you use. So, that's what I did! Every weekend I would set myself up on the front veranda with all sorts of music blaring out of my speakers and it was my time to breath and just go with whatever came out! I was able to submit 5-6 works that were all totally different to each other and all totally different sizes, my biggest being probably almost 3m long and 2m wide. Anyway, I decided to name my Body of Work "Symphony of Colour" which I still love to this day and will continue to use until I stop creating! Attached below is a link to a work I created around the time of my HSC, I think it would make a really great little Christmas present for someone near and dear Thanks to all the people that have liked my page so far, the support means a bunch https://www.etsy.com//listing/8/symphony-of-colour-purple
10.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all got a lovely rest and are coping with getting back into the swing of things So I promised my little sister a painting for Christmas 5 or 6 years ago and life got in the way and it just didn't happen. Once I started painting again she was quick to remind me that I owed her one and that "it better be big, I've waited long enough!" and so here we are! They love it and I can't wait to see it hanging somewhere in their lovely house@chelsearoutley
05.01.2022 One happy customer!
