25.01.2022 This little sweetheart is my baby, Lily. My 5 year old baby . This morning we decided to get up early and beat the heat (it was still 28, but thats cool compared to the 36 it was heading for). The alarm went off at 4:30am and the hubby and I got a cup of tea in our belly before heading down to the beach for an early morning walk. Lily lies in some awkward positions, but one of her favorites is on her belly with her back legs flattened out. I think its a staffy thing, which she has some dna of. Does your dog have a strange way of sitting or laying down? @ Gantheaume Point

24.01.2022 This twilight light just after the sun sets is magical. Being close to the equator means it doesnt last long though, so you have to be quick. I particularly love it when you get the wet sand from an outgoing tide giving you such strikingly clear reflections of both the colourful sky and beautiful dogs. 23.01.2022 Brownie, his mum Louise, and I had a great time a few weeks ago. We discovered this gorgeous little park, and then headed down to Cable Beach to catch the sunset. Brownie has some very specific dietary requirements, and I was prepared with some safe treats for him, but he could smell the liver treats I often have in my pouch. He spat the treat out at first thinking he could get something better from me, but soon realised his safe treats were all he was getting. He eventually decided he was ok with that . On another note, how cute are his little ears!

16.01.2022 I went on a little road trip to Perth a couple weeks ago, just me and the fur kids. One of the stops I made was in Sandstone, WA, where there is a rock formation called London Bridge. My whole trip had been pretty quiet with few other people around, and here was no different (just the way I like it ). So I cheekily took my well behaved dog, Zak, off lead for a moment and had him pose on a rock for me. Hes such a good boy. 15.01.2022 Hi! Im Georgia, welcome to my Pet Photography page. As this is the first post, I figure I should share a bit about me, and a few of my photos of some of the furry cuties Ive had the pleasure to photography. In a nut shell, I was born in Canada (eh!). I grew up with dogs, cats, gerbils, fish, and I was even lucky enough to have a horse in the family. I finished my university degree in 2007 and decided I wanted to travel more, so I packed a bag and went on an adventure to Aus...tralia. Little did I know, that 11 years later, Id still be in Australia, living in a beautiful town in the far north west. Its a long way from the snowy cold of Canada, I tell ya. I love animals, always have, and Im quite partial to the canine variety that share our homes, our lives and our hearts. My husband and I have two furbabies of our own; Zak, a kelpie cross, and Lily, a Broome bitsa. They are the best couch warmers, scary noise chaserawayers, tell me off for leaving the house for 5 minutes, cuddlers, cheese checkers, laughter creators and adventure companions anyone could ask for. 13.01.2022 If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably already know I was away in New Zealand attending an amazing workshop with some brilliant pet photographers recently. Ive been working away at the images and will be sharing them soon, but in the mean time, here is one of my favorites from the workshop. The symmetry made my heart happy and those eyes are just captivating! I could stare at them all day. This is Stell, and maybe its because I just watched the movie Christopher Robin, but he had a look that made me think of Eeyore.

Its a very bright location in general, but I loved these trees just at the end of Denham road. 06.01.2022 Entrance Point really is such a beautiful place to photograph. As can happen in the wet season here, the clouds were about and the radar was showing some good rain activity just south of Broome. It looked like it should pass south though, and the sun was still coming through to the north so we decided to keep the session as planned. Im so glad we did too because we had this beautiful soft light that worked so well for Asha and her human, Donna.

05.01.2022 Did you go get youre Broome dogs calendar? If you did, youll recognise this trio. I hadnt photographed any dogs out at Coconut Wells, but Alyssa and Ben were happy to wing it, and so off we went planning to hit the rock pools at low tide. We did them, but I was eyeing off the gorgeous wet flat sand of low tide with the reflections of a still lake, so off we wandered and set them up. I cant look at this photo and not think of Alyssa saying how it looked like it was Georgie and her bodyguards . 04.01.2022 Its wet season here in Broome, but until 2 nights ago, we hadnt had anything yet. I love these light cloudy mornings we can get once and a while this time of year, so we took advantage and spent a couple hours at the beach. I mean, why not, its a cool 31C. I grabbed my camera and snapped a few as my hubby threw the ball around the beautiful white sand. I just had to take advantage of this soft light thats so rare here.
