25.01.2022 DUCKPRINTS.. it’s been requested a few times as a digital image, so I thought I’d pop it on the website as a print too. Image description an aerial image captured over a pink salt lake in Western Victoria, where meandering footprints from various birds and ducks had created beautiful patterns from above. Captured at the end of a long dry summer where a dry and inhospitable environment had allowed pink algae to thrive. Available as a fine art print in all the sizes, can’t wait to see it on paper @ Victoria

23.01.2022 Fathers Day is just around the corner... so here’s a sample range of prints that have been popular with the men! Hint hint nudge nudge.. you know.. just in case anyone’s stuck like me! On another note, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has bought a print to date.. I am so thrilled with how they are going and still punch the air with every single order received. It is so so humbling to know someone has chosen one of my works for their wall. It’s been a seriosuly... shit year for so many and I would not dare complain.. but I do miss my outback work, and have a serious case of red dirt fever (thanks to all the outback accounts I follow for keeping the dream alive!) but this time has allowed time to develop other parts of my business which would have otherwise been neglected. I am absolutely loving helping rural businesses tell their story through commercial shoots, and the mutually supportive relationships developed with each client. It’s growing and I honestly love it. The fine art prints have been a silver lining of this time too... so many hours have gone into making sure I am providing something I am truly proud of. Shoutout to the awesome Katie from @calicopony who is the guru of fine art prints.. she has brainstormed and helped and been so incredibly generous with her time all along the way. You are a rockstar. Anyway that’s an essay for you tonight but sometimes you need to thank and acknowledge things.. the photography and small business community on here is so incredibly awesome and I am honoured to be part of it. The world is better for barrackers and people who support people. Thank you to all the encouragers and everyone who uplifts.. you know who you are @ Caramut, Victoria, Australia

22.01.2022 Meet Claire Morgan. . Mother of 3, farmers wife, and founder and owner of the gorgeous Rupanyup Living, Home and Giftwares and its (delicious!) offshoot @rupanyupliving_brownies, from Rupanyup in the heart of Victoria’s Wimmera region. . Rupanyup Living, nestled in one of the town’s original buildings, is a treasure trove of boutique goodness. Created in 2012 after a few years of crippling drought, and then flood, Claire recognized a community need for something.. Living... and working on a farm can feel so isolating, so I wanted to create a meeting place for people to come, have a coffee and cake, and shop locally. There wasn’t anything like it in town... . The store now attracts travellers from all over, and in response to Covid is now online. Despite 2020 being one of her most difficult years, Claire says ‘We bunkered down and focussed on what we could control. I missed a lot of good trade instore but there was nothing I could do about it. . But despite a blooming iso garden and time to focus on other things she says, it’s good to be back.. Living rural, you wear so many hats and this business is one I really love. I realised that I need Rupanyup Living just as much as the community does! ... More of her gorgeous story, and photos, and brownies (!) to come.. See more

22.01.2022 Full moon setting on dawn as the Green Eggs girls head out of their sleeping quarters and off to green pastures . This beautiful shoot had all the feels.. a morning spent capturing the most gorgeous family run business, set in the foothills of the Grampians with some very happy and healthy hens.. . Happy Sunday all, hope the weekends been a good one..

22.01.2022 Howdy.. just letting you know that this will be the absolute last week for Xmas orders... so if you are after Xmas gifts or goodies please order in the next few days... . I will be having a break over Dec/Jan to squeeze my family and friends, and my website/socials will be largely unattended. So.. please flick any order/queries through this week to avoid missing the boat! . No more photography bookings til Feb 2021... ... . Thanks all so much for your support this year, it’s been a big one... x See more

22.01.2022 Good morning and here’s to a new week! Theres been the most heavenly rain here over the weekend with sunshine to finish it off yesterday. Wee bit reminiscent of this summer storm pic I found when reformatting some of my memory cards the other day.. in other news I launched my 2021 calendars yesterday and they’re available now for sale from my website.. hope you love them! https://www.georgiemannphotography.com.au/2021-calendars

21.01.2022 Welcome back to our #aussiesummertimeloop. A group of Australian Rural photographers have come together to celebrate all things Summer! From the backyards to the bush, our summertime may each look a little different, but over the next few weeks we are celebrating and exploring just what it is that makes an Aussie Summer so special. This photo was taken last night on sunset as summer storms finished rolling across our paddocks and golden light painted the countryside the mos...t intoxicating palette of colours. We have had an inch of rain in the last couple of days and are heading into an unseasonably green Christmas. You can keep following along the loop by checking out the very talented @jessica_j_howard... enjoy!

21.01.2022 Today’s weather has been all sorts of magical which seems befitting given today was the first day that Melbourne got to enjoy some long awaited freedoms... what a day for it! . Nov 8th and you can finally travel beyond your own backyard... yay! So for all you photography enthusiasts that have been bunkered down.. I have a thought! . Who is keen to venture out this way for a day with me shooting all my favorite Western Victorian photography spots??... . Think sunrise or a sunset.. Grampians.. big old redgums.. country laneways and tree tunnels.. waterfalls.. crops.. haybales.. a few hidden secrets here and possibly a windmill or two.. . It’s an inkling in the pipeline with no fixed date..... so let me know if that sounds like your thang and you’d be keen for a little camera getaway to our backyard..?! If so, I’ll get a planning! See more

21.01.2022 Sun sets on the last photo from this harvest shoot.. sorry couldn’t resist just one more! Happy weekend all x

20.01.2022 Always a treat when the sun decides to shine through in an otherwise feral day! #wednesday

19.01.2022 Always such a pleasure to capture the people and story behind a business.. the Mibus family at Glenara Merinos was no exception! The superfine wool (yes down to 14 microns!) they are producing has to be seen to be believed.. wonderful people and I loved this job ps. Ram sale on 19 October! @ Glenara Merinos

18.01.2022 COMPLETELY obsessed with this shoot for the gorgeous Rupanyup Living, Home and Giftwares last week... where we made a whole lot of magic together photographing and styling Claire’s gorgeous bush business brand.. here’s a quick little behind the scenes styling snippet, but so much more of this gorgeous bush biz to come... @ Rupanyup, Victoria

17.01.2022 It’s that crazy time of year... midnight oil being burnt by all. Here’s to all those that work in acres not hours, and to all those that support them. . This aerial shot was taken on assignment for Victorian Farmers Federation at Grains Councillor Jason Mellings property near Carron in Victoria’s Wimmera region. A harvester continues to harvest as it offloads wheat to a chaser bin alongside. The harvest has since headed south and grain farmers all over are replicating the same scene...

16.01.2022 So thrilled to be on board! Here’s to lots more photographs and helping tell lots more #storiesfromthesticks ... thanks for having me Rural Room.. love what you do!

15.01.2022 Wondering if I’m possibly just a wee bit crazy, but I’m excited to be offering 2 calendars for 2021... a rural version, and now an outback one too.. (because if we can’t visit quite yet then at least we can dream right?!) I’ve been wracked with nostalgia as I’ve trawled through images for selection, and thank you SO much to all of you who have given feedback via stories to help when I couldn’t see the wood for the trees!!! I’ve finally got them both sorted, and am really thri...lled with the results. I know quite a few missed out last year, it’s near impossible to gauge what the demand will be, so this time round I’m selling via preorder and that way hopefully no one will miss out. (and I won’t be left with a heap of unsold if no one wants one! ) This little hut from the plains of Marree, SA is my Outback cover image, and both calendars will be available for sale MONDAY 14 September! Now let’s just pray we have some dates to put in them!! See more

15.01.2022 Hooray its Friday! here’s to haybales, cute little people and beautiful country skies... have a great weekend all x

15.01.2022 It wasn’t hard to scout out the perfect photo shoot backdrop for these gorgeous Grampians inspired products recently... Scottish tartan blankets by the ever inspiring The Grampians Goods Co. and chair by gorgeous local stockist The Hamilton Hamper how lucky are we in Western Victoria to have so many amazing local brands!? #shoplocal

14.01.2022 I’m not usually a fan of any intense green in my feed... (I’m a farmers wife and should revel in these colours more I know...) rather I’m drawn to the washed out dry tones of summer, or the earthy ochres of our outback.... BUT this Spring has been incredible and I haven’t been able to resist. This early morning scene over our beautiful Visit Grampians was other worldly as I stood there on the side of the road droning the most gorgeous of mornings.. #lovewhereyoulive

13.01.2022 Welcome to January 2021.. and the two images you’ll spend your month looking at in each of my newly launched calendars! the first is a stretch of red dirt near the Flinders Ranges and is January’s image in the Outback Calendar, and the second is taken at the base of Mt Abrupt, Grampians and is the January image in the rural calendar which contains a collection of some of my most favorite rural images. Thanks to everyone who helped with the input and decision making over images which nearly did my head in.. it helped a lot!! Both calendars are now available for preorder via link in bio and I can’t wait to see where they jet off too! And yes overseas orders welcome too, I can sort it! @ 2021

13.01.2022 Have had a last minute cancellation and am seeking a farming family for a VFF shoot... details in images below.. good chance for a freebie photo session if anyone’s keen! Please share/tag away! X this Thursday (tomorrow) evening or even Saturday..

13.01.2022 Welcome back to our #aussiesummertimeloop where a group of Australian Rural photographers have come together to celebrate all things Summer! From the backyards to the bush, our summertime may each look a little different, but over the next few weeks we are celebrating and exploring just what it is that makes an Aussie Summer so special. One of the things I love most about summer is the school holidays (phew!) and kids helping out and being involved in everyday farm life. ... You can follow along the loop of rural summer snapshots by checking out the very talented @henrietta_attard ...

12.01.2022 It’s been a while between windmill sunsets... anyone else witness last nights incredible show?!

12.01.2022 A valued employee was leaving a property recently and I was asked by the owners to come and capture her at work on a typical day so as to be able to gift her some memories and a print for her wall... it got me thinking what a great concept this is, and a potential idea for original and meaningful presents for colleagues and employees! We made sure to pick a morning when the weather gods were going to play nice, and voila we got gold. Oodles of photos delivered of a typical farm day, the people involved and the farms defining features. A little snapshot in time captured forever, love these jobs

11.01.2022 Always such a privilege to help a business tell their story by capturing the people and places behind them.. I spent half at day Caravan Eggs photographing and learning about this boutique family run egg business; a truly free range enterprise which has been grown from the roots up. Loved every minute

10.01.2022 I have new cards! Was having a ponder over some of the calendar images and decided to give a new gift card set a whirl... great little Xmas card set to compliment a calendar.. anyone else in complete denial that we are already into November??? I honestly cannot believe it.. yikes.

10.01.2022 Moments like this on mornings like that... and little bits of gold that help tell the story of a beautiful bush business. Love my job senseless sometimes...

08.01.2022 Some soothing Sunday surf vibes...

08.01.2022 Little accommodation shoot for this piece of Grampians gorgeousness... who wouldn’t want to book a weekend escape here?! Salt Creek Cottage edit: (and yes for those asking the chairs are available from The Hamilton Hamper!)

07.01.2022 Evening glow out amongst canola fields this evening.. and an absolutely beautiful time of year. Thinking of everyone still enduring a covid lockdown and hoping this adds a little bit of joy to a social media feed here and there... I’m trying to keep things happy and normal on here, but the reality for so many is never far from my thoughts.. thinking of you Melbourne X

06.01.2022 Hey guys, I’m always a bit hopeless at posting during school holidays, but just jumping on quickly to let you know that RURAL & OUTBACK CALENDAR PREOORDERS are nearly done.. all orders (thank you!!!!) will be sent to the printers tomorrow! I have had a very rough stab at how many more I need to order, so there will be extras of course.. but I’ve no idea if I’ve got it right. So.. if you are really wanting to ensure you have your name on one or two before they sell out.. then ...tonight is the night to get ordering!!! I’ve made the wildly ridiculous idea to personally wrap each and every one so they will be ready to roll for Xmas gifts in fancy pants packaging.. they should look goood with any luck, but I most certainly will not.. please euthanase me later!! Anyway I am doing my best to provide a quality product for you all, that you will hopefully love, that helps promote our beautiful rural and outback Australia.. send them to your family, your country mates and most importantly your city mates.. rural Australia is the bomb and everyone needs to know!! https://www.georgiemannphotography.com.au/2021-calendars See more

06.01.2022 Sunset burn of an old pasture in preparation for sowing of the sorghum summer crop. This was last Sunday night and it made the most spectacular sight in the evening sky! And please don’t worry, everyone was safe.. we’ve done this once or twice before

05.01.2022 Hamilton region businesses.. if interested please follow link below to register... will be talking all things social media and marketing for your rural businesses! Happy to take questions and help where I can..

05.01.2022 They say the best light comes after a storm... this was Saturday mornings view over Redgum country in the Grampians foothills. Waterlogged paddocks were drenched in incredible light after being drenched by downpours the day before. No snow here, but by gosh there’s some water lying about! @ Dunkeld, Victoria

04.01.2022 Love a pink lake, but love my tribe the mostest..

04.01.2022 Magical moments shooting for The Grampians Goods Co. at the foot of our favorite mountain . Am super excited to have relaunched for 2021 (bit behind I know) and have some exciting new developments this year... . Bush business/commercial shoots this year will include the optional added extra of a personalized social media workshop, available in person or online, where I will help mentor with all things digital, and ensure you get the absolute max out of all the content I p...rovide! I did this a couple of times at the end of least year with clients, and it was gold! . I’m taking on a few less shoots so I can give of myself for each client... and possibly keep on top of laundry and mum life too! . 2021 is now booking up so flick me message if you’re keen, I’ll send you the details.. and hopefully we can make magic together sometime soon.. woohoo! Georgie x #goodtobeback See more

03.01.2022 I’ve been getting messages asking for more of my travel photos.. a little escapism from the confines of lockdown, or a reminder of our beautiful world that lies out of reach right now. So here’s a shot of #thatwanakatree from my unposted archives.. taken at the tail end of a pretty cold and early sunrise shoot a few years ago. I’ve seen so many photos of this tree over the years (how many trees have their own hashtag?!) but it’s beauty still strikes me every single time. Those gorgeous low hanging branches are sadly no longer, thanks to someone who had a serious mortgage on misery, and waded out into the lake to cut them off earlier this year. Seriously just why? Anyway I’ve been dreaming of fun times in NZ a bit lately.. and it’s high on my list for post covid travel.. what’s top of yours?

03.01.2022 Synchronized swans on dusk .. taken from our houseboat adventure along the Murray last month... #visitthemurray

01.01.2022 Late afternoon storms always produce the best light and last night was no exception. My ten year old and I ran like crazy people to the car in an attempt to capture the amazingly intense rainbow that had developed right over the valley below home. We wound up down here near the poplar trees.. almost bogged but not quite .. and high-fiving the incredible light which bathed our little creek and all the countryside around it in gorgeous golden tones. God how I love a good light chase.. Twas a stunner!

01.01.2022 Happy weekend all.. hope it’s filled with some little moments of magic
